Bigil which released a few months back was one of Vijay’s biggest hits in his career. Even the production house went on to tweet saying it is one of the most profitable ventures of 2019 which has now backfired them. The Income Tax department has been conducting raids at several properties belonging to the production AGS organization. Apparently, their investigation with AGS had led them to question the financier Anbuchezhian who funded the film and also Vijay who got a sumptuous salary for acting in Bigil.

The raid continues to take place on the properties of AGS organization, financier Anbuchezhian and Thalapathy Vijay. The officials have been questioning Vijay and his aids for the past 16 hours and reports suggest that the actor has been co-operating very well. But on the other hand, financier Anbuchezhian seems to be in serious trouble. If the latest reports are said to be true, over 65 crore rupees have been seized from the properties of Anbuchezhian. Apparently, 50 crores have been seized from his Chennai properties while 15 crores have been taken from his Madurai house. If Anbuchezhian doesn’t provide proper documents for these 65 crores, then the Income Tax department might have to hand over this case to the economic enforcement department.
