Bigg Boss season 2 Malayalam to be stopped due to Corona Virus Outbreak!
The second season of Bigg Boss Malayalam kickstarted in style in January on Asianet channel. The show is hosted by Mohanlal. With the current outbreak of COVID - 19 Corona Virus, it has now been revealed that the show’s production will stop and the contestants will be sent back to their homes. Asianet Channel, in a report, confirmed the news and stated that the decision has been taken considering the safety of the contestants and the large production crew.
Similarly, the show’s Indian producers, Endemol Shine informed the audience that the company will suspend all its production activities until the situation gets back to normalcy. Endemol Shine’s official statement read, “Endemol Shine India is committed to the well-being and safety of its employees, cast, and crew. We have currently announced a voluntary suspension of all our administrative and production department until further notice, in light of the pandemic spread of COVID-19. This is a temporary suspension aimed at contributing towards efforts of minimizing the spread of COVID-19 and to comply with all the safety and precautionary measures suggested by the Government.
These measures have been taken in an abundance of caution and the company has not experienced any confirmed cases of COVID-19 within the organization. During these challenging times, we appreciate the understanding of our employees, partners, crew, and artists. We urge everyone to be safe and ensure necessary health measures. We hope to be back to entertaining you soon! “ The second season of Bigg Boss Malayalam crossed over 73 days and was just 4 weeks away from getting over.
