Popular actress Anita Hassanandani and her husband Rohit Reddy were blessed with a baby boy earlier this year, whom they have named Aaravv. The happy couple have been enjoying the time since then with their child, while also posting pictures and videos of their antics together, which have been getting a huge response from fans. With Anita engaged full time in looking after Aaravv over the past few months, there were reports stating that she had decided to bid goodbye to acting, which she has now dismissed by issuing a statement saying her  priority at present is her son Aaravv.

In an interview to Etimes sometime back, Anita had said, "I had decided that whenever I would have a child, I would leave the industry and let go of my work. I always wanted to focus on being a mother. So, it's not about the pandemic, I would have either way left the industry, pandemic or no pandemic. I want to be at home with my kid. Honestly work is the last thing on my mind right now. I really don't know when I will get back." Likewise, while speaking to Bombay Times, Anita talked about "letting go of her work" to "focus on being a mother", which was misinterpreted by several media outlets as to her deciding to quit acting altogether. On Friday night, Anita took to her Twitter page to issue her clarification and wrote, "It’s all over that I’m quitting my first love ACTING I never said that…. All I said was that my focus right now is my child…. Aaravv is my priority… I will resume work when I’m ready." Below is her tweet:
