A film that has massive excitement surrounding it ever since it was announced, the 'Thalapathy' Vijay and 'Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi starrer, Master, under Lokesh Kanagaraj's direction has sky-high expectations among fans everywhere. Produced by Xavier Britto's XB Film Creators in association with Lalit Kumar's 7 Screen Studios, Master also includes in its huge team Aadai director Rathna Kumar serving as an additional screenwriter.

Known to be an ardent Vijay fan, Rathna Kumar has expressed his love and enthusiasm for the superstar on numerous occasions while once again now using a reference about the actor to draw a comparison to Spanish actor Álvaro Morte's character, Sergio Marquina (The Professor / Salvador "Salva" Martín), from the worldwide smash hit Netflix show, Money Heist. Rathna Kumar, who is a passionate fan of the show, took to his Twitter page to express his excitement by calling Álvaro Morte's character as the Spanish Vaathi as a reference to Vijay in Master as Money Heist season 4 will begin streaming tomorrow (April 3) on Netflix at 12:30PM. 'Vaathi Coming' as fans will know by now is the song from Master featured on Vijay and is an out-and-out thara local track sung by Gaana Balachandar and composed by Anirudh Ravichander, which has since gone on to become a chartbuster with the lyric video released last month receiving a thunderous response from fans.

Master will see Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi squaring off against each other with Malavika Mohanan playing the female lead and the massive ensemble cast featuring names like Shanthanu Bhagyaraj, Andrea Jeremiah, Kaithi villain Arjun Das, Nassar, 96 actress Gouri Kishan, Sanjeev, Srinath, Sriman, Nagendra Prasad, Dheena, Ramya Subramanian, Ramesh Thilak, Prem, Azhagam Perumal, Chetan, Brigada Sagay and Lintu Rony.
