Music director Yuvan Shankar Raja who has more than 100 films to his credit floated his home banner YSR Films last year. He announced that the company’s first project would be Kolayuthir Kaalam starring Nayanthara, helmed by Chakri Toleti. Now, for the company’s second production venture, Yuvan has roped in director Seenu Ramasamy and Vijay Sethupathi.The film is reportedly titled Maamanithan and is expected to commence sometime in July. The trio had earlier collaborated in two films – Idam Porul Yaeval and the national award winning Dharmadurai.
