The long-awaited Ayalaan teaser dropped on Friday evening, October 6, much to the excitement of leading Tamil actor Sivakarthikeyan's fans everywhere, and it is a visual spectacle from start to finish. The upcoming big-budget science-fiction film directed by Indru Netru Naalai fame R. Ravikumar and featuring music composed by Academy Award winner A. R. Rahman is gearing up for a grand release in cinemas worldwide as a Pongal treat in January 2024. With the Ayalaan teaser giving audiences a new glimpse at what's in store for fans, filmmakers Lokesh Kanagaraj and Venkat Prabhu have now sent their wishes to the team of the highly-anticipated Sivakarthikeyan-starrer, while also sharing their opinions after watching the eye-popping visuals. 

Lokesh Kanagaraj, who is awaiting the release of his Leo starring 'Thalapathy' Vijay on October 19, congratulated director R. Ravikumar for his years of hard work finally becoming a reality, while also complimenting the visuals featured in the Ayalaan teaser. The trendsetting Tamil director also praised Sivakarthikeyan for successfully making the film and expressed his appreciation for the entire team for their efforts. Lokesh Kanagaraj posted on X, "Congratulations @Ravikumar_Dir anna for all the hard work you’ve put in for years. I can see the output bursting with so much energy. @Siva_Kartikeyan brother, thank you for trusting and pulling off a Himalayan task. Hearty wishes to the entire cast and crew of #Ayalaan 🤗" (sic)

Likewise, blockbuster Tamil filmmaker Venkat Prabhu, who is set to begin filming the tentatively titled Thalapathy 68 with Vijay, also expressed his joy after watching the Ayalaan teaser and showered his appreciation on director R. Ravikumar for bringing the sci-fi genre to Tamil cinema. He also shared that the film is going to be a fun entertainer and hinted at wanting to do something similar in the same genre. Venkat Prabhu wrote on X, "This one is definitely gonna be fun alien film!! Can’t wait!! Thanks for bringing this genre to our industry!! Always wanted to try something in this genre!! Will surely do some day! Great work director Saar!! Hearty wishes to @Siva_Kartikeyan bro!" (sic)

Ayalaan was first announced back in 2016, with principal photography taking place from June 2018 to January 2021. There are tremendous expectations surrounding the Sivakarthikeyan-starrer as it will feature more than 4500+ VFX shots making it the first full-length live-action film in Indian cinema history to achieve this massive feat. Ayalaan will see Sivakarthikeyan paired with Rakul Preet Singh, while the ensemble cast includes Karunakaran, Yogi Babu, Sharad Kelkar, Isha Koppikar, David Broughton-Davies, Banupriya, among others making appearances in key roles.
