Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan surprised fans on Sunday, June 25, on the occasion of completing 31 years in cinema by dropping an update for the Jawan teaser. Interacting with fans on Twitter in an Ask Me Anything (AM) session, the 'Bollywood Baadshah' extended his gratitude to everyone for their support ever since the release of his first film, Deewana, on June 25, 1992, while also taking queries. Among the questions SRK addressed was one about the teaser of his next film, the highly-anticipated Jawan, directed by Atlee.
Wow just realised it’s 31 yrs to the day when Deewana hit the screens. It’s been quite a ride mostly a good one. Thanks all and we can do 31minutes of #AskSRK ??

Informing that the Jawan teaser is ready and waiting to be released, Shah Rukh Khan said that he and the team are at work on getting the other aspects of the film in place. He tweeted, "It’s all ready getting other assets in place. Don’t worry it’s all in a happy place…#Jawan (sic)". The wait for the film's news visuals has been a long one as fans have not gotten to witness any action ever since the release of the title announcement video that was unleashed last year. Jawan has been carrying tremendous hype right from the moment it went on floors and we can expect the next phase of promotions in the days ahead.

Scheduled to open in cinemas worldwide on September 7, Jawan was initially planned to invade cinemas on June 2 but was postponed due to pending post-production works, with Shah Rukh Khan sometime back revealing that the film is now ready and will include loads of action. The upcoming film also marks the big debut of Atlee, 'Lady Superstar' Nayanthara, 'Rockstar' Anirudh Ravichander, cinematographer GK Vishnu, and editor Ruben in Bollywood, while 'Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi, who was recently seen in Mumbaikar, will be playing the antagonist. Produced under the Red Chillies Entertainment banner, Jawan will be releasing in in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages, and Shah Rukh Khan will be looking to hit the bullseye this year second time in a row after the staggering success of Pathaan back in January.
