Blockbuster actor-filmmaker Raghava Lawrence's highly-anticipated Rudhran is gearing up for a grand opening in cinemas everywhere on April 14. The upcoming mass action entertainer marks the directorial debut of hit producer S. Kathiresan of Five Star Creations, with Priya Bhavani Shankar playing the female lead, Sarathkumar cast as the antagonist. With only a couple of more days for Rudhran's worldwide theatrical release, the much-awaited 'Jorthaale' song lyric video has now been released giving audiences a glimpse at Lawrence's stunning moves where he can once again be seen setting the dance floor on fire.
The 'Jorthaale' song has music produced by ofRo and lyrics by Asal Kolaar, with the duo also contributing on the vocal front with MC Vickey. The song, which had already garnered phenomenal feedback from fans after initially being released as an independent track back in 2022, has now been adapted for Rudhran, with Lawrence doing justice with his electrifying dance steps and moves. The buzz for Rudhran has been huge and the inclusion of the 'Jorthaale' song will no doubt add to the excitement for the film, especially among the youngsters.
Rudhran is Raghava Lawrence's first film since Muni 4: Kanchana 3, which turned out to be one of the highest-grossing films of 2019. Apart from the 'Jorthaale', the recreated version of the yesteryear classic hit 'Paadatha Pattellam' song by music director Dharan and featured on Lawrence and Priya Bhavani Shankar has received a staggering response. Rudhran, which is also being released in Telugu under the title Rudhrudu by Tagore Madhu's Pixel Studios banner, has songs composed by National Award winner G. V. Prakash Kumar, while the background score work has been done by Sam C. S. Producer Kathiresan will want to start off on a winning note on the directorial front with Rudhran after bankrolling past blockbusters Polladhavan, Aadukalam, Jigarthanda, and last year's Diary.
