The highly-anticipated Leo trailer is finally out now and 'Thalapathy' Vijay's fans everywhere have begun their celebrations. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and featuring music by 'Rockstar' Anirudh Ravichander, the mass action film also stars Trisha as the female lead and Sanjay Dutt playing the main antagonist, with 'Action King' Arjun, Mysskin, and Sandy Master appearing as baddies, while Gautham Menon is shown to be a police officer. Among the several big highlights in the Leo trailer is the mystery surrounding the identity of Vijay's character and it looks like Lokesh Kanagaraj has several big treats loaded in the film.

In the Leo trailer, there is a moment when we see Trisha querying, "Our life will be like this from now on, Parthi?". The scene has raised the question of whether she is indeed addressing Vijay as Parthi and if so, why is he using an alias. Then, there is Vijay seen in the trailer in a fit of rage at one point telling Trisha that he is being tortured just because he resembles someone else. Both these dialogues when heard back-to-back hint that it could be the same scene and it remains to be seen whether there is someone else named Leo or whether Vijay is leading a double life as Leo and Parthi or he is appearing in dual roles. Towards the end of the trailer, Gautham Menon is also seen saying, "Beyond this, if truth has to be told, Leo has to come in person", which has once again brought up the question of Vijay's identity and whether there's more to it than meets the eye.

The mystery surrounding Vijay as Leo and Parthi is no doubt interesting for fans, who will now have to wait till October 19 to find out answers when the film opens in theatres worldwide. There is already quite a lot of excitement surrounding the film and whether it will have any roots in the highly-debated Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU) after the stories of Karthi's Kaithi (2019) and Kamal Haasan's Vikram (2022) made a crossover. With the Vijay's Leo trailer now the talk of the town, fans will be waiting with bated breath to witness what Lokesh Kanagaraj has cooked for them.
