Telugu superstar Jr. NTR is celebrating his birthday today and the highly-anticipated title and the first look of his next big film have been revealed as a special treat for his fans around the world. Launched in a grand manner back in March under the tentative title NTR 30, the upcoming mass-action film being directed by blockbuster Telugu filmmaker Koratala Siva and produced jointly by NTR Arts and Yuvasudha Arts banners has been announced to be titled Devara. The run-up to the reveal of the title of Jr. NTR's Devara has been going on for weeks since the film's launch and the announcement coming out on Friday evening has no doubt received a thunderous response from the actor's hardcore fans everywhere.

In the Devara first look, we get introduced to Jr. NTR standing atop rocks on the sea and holding a long sword amidst a scene of wreckage that includes a boat completely destroyed to smithereens. We see the actor looking far away while there are several slain and lying dead around him. Billed to be as "the Lord of Fear", Jr. NTR's character in Devara and in the first look shows him to be a larger-than-life character, and rest assured the actor's role in the film will be nothing short of action-packed from the beginning to the end.

Devara marks the second time Jr. NTR is collaborating with director Koratala Siva after their Janatha Garage (2016), which also marks the Telugu debut of Bollywood sensation Janhvi Kapoor, while Saif Ali Khan is playing the antagonist once again after the upcoming Prabhas-starrer Adipurush. Announced to open in cinemas worldwide on April 5, 2024, the film also includes a stellar technical team starting with composer 'Rockstar' Anirudh Ravichander, Rathnavelu for the cinematography, editor A. Sreekar Prasad, art director Sabu Cyril, and renowned action producer Kenny Bates, who is best known for his work in Hollywood blockbusters like Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, Transformers to name a few, while also being a part of smash hit Indian films like 2.0 and Saaho. Devara is Jr. NTR's first big film after the global success of RRR in which he co-starred alongside Ram Charan under S. S. Rajamouli's direction, and there will be plenty of hype and expectations for the film from around the world this time.
