Sundar C is a popular director turned actor, whose upcoming film is Thalai Nagaram 2. He will reprise the role as Subramaniam aka Right in the film is helmed by V.Z. Durai in the action entertainment that revolves around a powerful ganger. A new trailer of the film was released on June 11 and the makers also announced that the film will release in theatres soon. The film has Kuppathu Raja and Sixer fame Palak Lalwani with Thambi Ramaiah and others in important roles.

Ahead of the release of Thalai Nagaram 2, the director Sundar C gave an exclusive Interview with Galatta Media. When asked about the response to his recent directorial film Aranmanai 3, The director said “yesterday, I saw an article that said the recent film of Arya did not do well and they added Aranmanai 3 to the list. The fact is different from what was written. I have made many films and Aranmanai 3 was the film that I got over for. What is meant by over is that we will sell for a rate, distributors will make a profit and then share the profit as over. This is the first film that I have got over for. So-called successful films were released and they were telecasted on TV with the film. Aranmanai 3 got more TRP than the other two films. So, what would you call the result of Aranmanai 3? In theatre audience enjoyment is important. If only reviews are important, I would be gone in the second year itself."
The director Sundar C further went on say that he does not believe in celebrating the success of a movie after just one day. He said "I have not had success meets for any of the films. But, now I think it might be wrong. It’s like whatever comes up on social media is true, without knowing the fact or reality. I will tell you what a theatre owner said to me.
