Tamil filmmaker Gautham Vasudev Menon penned a detailed note on Tuesday evening, November 28, addressing the postponement of his long-delayed film, Dhruva Natchathiram. The blockbuster director addressed the postponement of the 'Chiyaan' Vikram-starrer on November 24 saying that the film's team moved mountains to make it happen till the day of the release last week, while also assuring fans that they are doing everything to bring it out in theatres soon. Gautham Menon started his statement by saying, "A vision. Lot of passion. And unwavering dedication has got Dhruva Natchathiram from pen & paper to the film that it is today. Even when all else works against us, we hope that our passion & dedication will help us get the film out to you, in theatres worldwide, soon." (sic) 

Gautham Menon continued, "When we announced the release date as 24th of November, we tried moving mountains to make it happen. We would be lying if we said we're not disappointed with not being able to meet the date. This note is to assure the audience that we've not given up on the film. We are doing everything within our power and beyond to cross these hurdles and get Dhruva Natchathiram out in theatres for you." (sic) He added, "All of you, the audience, have been our biggest cheerleaders. The unending love and support from you has been overwhelming & reassuring. Our hearts are full, and we would like to take this opportunity to thank you for being our pillar of strength." (sic)

Gautham Menon concluded his statement, writing, "As we navigate these final stages, we eagerly anticipate the day we can share our creation with you. The film will soon see the light of the day and we can't wait to embark on this cinematic journey of John & Team Basement together with you. Love, GVM". (sic) Gautham Menon's latest statement about Dhruva Natchathiram comes as fans look forward to the new release date, which is expected to be made known in the days ahead. Billed to be an espionage thriller, the film has Vikram cast opposite Ritu Varma, who is playing the female lead, and Jailer fame Vinayakan as the antagonist, with the ensemble cast featuring Parthiban, R. Radikaa Sarathkumar, Simran, Dhivya Dharshini, Vamsi Krishna, Munna Simon, Salim Baig, Sathish Krishnan, and Maya S Krishnan, and the songs and the background score composed by Harris Jayaraj
