Vinayan accused of plagiarism
Prominent ad designer Sabu Signature has alleged that director Vinayan has lifted his story for his new film Raghuvinte Swantham Rasiya.
Sabu, who claimed that he narrated the story to Vinayan a couple of years ago when he was a staunch supporter of Vinayan during the MACTA-FEFCA war, also filed a complaint against Vinayan in court.
"The title of my story was 'Babukkuttante Swantham Noorjahan' and Vinayan's title is Raghuvinte Swantham Rasiya. The resemblance with these titles proves that he has used my story," Sabu said. Vinayan, however, rubbished Sabu's allegations, saying that the ad designer is vengeful only because he wasn't offered the ad designs of his new film.
