Mammootty not fit for honorary awards: Vinayan
Director Vinayan said in an interview with an online website that megastar Mammootty doesn't deserve any of honorary awards conferred on him.
The director apparetnly lashed out at the actor on coming to know that Mammootty, Chairman of the Kairali Channel, had given specific instructions that not even a song from Vinayan’s Yakshiyum Njanum should be screened on the channel.
"Only very cheap individuals would be able to do such things. One should find how such persons have been given awards like the Bharat award and Padmabhushan," Vinayan said. He also alleged that Mammootty has some major ego issues.
