The latest buzz in the industry is that ace director cum producer Ranjith is all geared up to produce Megastar Mammootty's upcoming film. Ranjith is not going to direct this time, but only produce it. Talented cinematographer Venu will be directing this yet to be titled film. Unni R is handling the script of the film.

The last film released under the combination of Mammootty and Ranjith didn't fare well at the box office. The duo want to strike back at the box office with this new film. It can be recalled that recently Ranjith shelved his most anticipated project - G For Gold with Mohanlal.
