Ban on Thilakan: Vinayan mocks FEFKA
Controversial Malayalam director Vinayan has mocked at the Film Employees' Federation of Kerala's (FEFKA) decision to lift the ban on veteran actor Thilakan, citing his failing health.
Talking at the audio launch of his forthcoming film Raghuvinte Swantham Rasiya, in which Thilakan plays a major role, the director said the actor is acting in Raghuvinte Swantham Rasiya, proving that he has no health issues.
Meanwhile, while delivering the keynote address at the inaugural session of a workshop on dance in Kottayam on Saturday, Thilakan said that versatile artistes no longer received the recognition they deserved contrary to earlier times.
Thilakan, who was the chief guest, said such a trend pointed towards a significant amount of degradation in the world of arts. He considers it his responsibility to bring about a positive change in this alarming situation.
