Telugu director S.S. Rajamouli, who attended the special press meet of his upcoming project Eega at Bangalore yesterday, expressed his desire to direct a Kannada film. The filmmaker, who praised the rich cultural heritage of Karnataka state, also stated that he is interested to do a film based on Vijayanagar Empire.
The Eega press meet, which was organized by Kiccha Sudeep, was also attended by the Sandalwood stars Darshan and Crazy Star Ravichandran.
Eega is fantasy. The movie stars Nani and Samantha in lead roles. Sudeep plays the villain. The movie is all set to hit the screens on July 6.
