English Vinglish's music director, Amit Trivedi has tried giving his own touch of music to this movie and it has turned out brilliantly.

To begin with the title song, Swanand Kirkire and Shilpa Roa have played well with the lyrics and is a very catchy number.

For the Song 'Badla Nazara', which has both a female and male version, Shilpa Roa and Amit Trivedi have played the chords perfectly, without any angrezi lyrics interrupting it. The best part about this song, is the 'Aflatoon, Hai Junoon'.

'Dhak Dhuk', has amazing lyrics penned by Swanand Kirkire. Its garba beats and flute sounds, will keep you humming this tone. It is more of a folky track.

'Gustak Dil', sung by Shilpa Roa is a sublime rock flavoured track. The track begins with a boom. 'Manhattan' has fast beats and vocals adding to the situation of the song, the credit for which goes to Clinton and Bianca Gomes, who where introduced by the Coke Studio.

Lastly, the Marathi folk track, 'Navrai Majhi', makes your feet go tapping to its tunes. This track is sung by Swanand, his mother Neelambari Kirkire and Sunidhi Chauhan.

Amit Trivedi has fared well with the movie's music but however, fans may not be as impressed with him in this movie, as they were with his music for Ishaqzaade, and his Coke Studio episode.

English Vinglish marks the comeback of Sridevi. With Amitabh Bachchan coming in for a special appearance, the movie also stars, French actor Mehdi Nebbou, Adil Hussian and Priya Anand.  For the Tamil version, Ajith Kumar makes a special appearance, instead of Amitabh Bachchan. The movie is slated for release on October 5, 2012.
