The Avengers is a forthcoming multi-superhero movie produced and distributed by Marvel Studios and Walt Disney Pictures respectively. This movie will feature most of the prominent super heroes like Thor, Iron Man, Black Widow, Captain America, Hawkeye, from the Marvel Comics. This movie directed by Joss Whedon has a huge cast, which includes the likes of Robert Downey, Jr, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner and Samuel L. Jackson.
 
The plot: Nick Fury, the director of the peacekeeping organization S.H.I.E.L.D forms a team by recruiting a number of superheroes to save the world from destruction.
 
This $220 million budgeted movie will hit the screens worldwide on 4th May, 2012.
