Siddharth is one of the leading actors in the Tamil film industry who has acted as the lead in films over the last 20 years. In celebration of the incredible milestone Galatta media organised an exciting fans meet where the enthusiastic actor interacted with his fans. The first film of the actor was Boys which was directed by Shankar. The next film of the actor that is to release in theatres is Takkar, that to be directed by Karthik G Krish. It's a Tamil release of the actor after a long time. He is also a part of the exciting upcoming film Indian 2 and is doing a pivotal role alongside 'Ulaganayagan' Kamal Haasan.

During the fans meet organised by Galatta Media, some scenes from the movies that Siddharth was a part of were played and he shared some behind the scene incidents and experiences acting in the film. When a scene from Boys featuring late actor Vivek was played. The actor said “I remember the first time I met him. It was my first-day combination with him in Boys. I also remember working with him on the last day. He died on my birthday. We are not able to understand it. When I last met him when he was alive, It was in Indian 2 sets. I remember the last thing he shared with me." He got emotional and said “Why are you like this, I want to be like you Siddhu. How do you not have any fear? That is what he said and I will never be able to forget that. Because he has been seeing me since my first film and praised me as a person, It was like an award from him."

Actor Siddharth further said that the last time he met actor Vivek after his demise he made some promises to him and he hopes to make those promises come true in the next 20 years. When asked if fans can expect Vivek sir in Indian 2. "Surely you can expect it and Shankar sir said the same, It will be a tribute to Vivek sir fans. Boys was my first film and Indian 2 was his last film and I was there in it." said the actor. Watch the full video:

After the first death anniversary of late comedian Vivek, his daughter Amirthanandini, his wife Arulselvi, and Cell Murugan recently met Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin at the Chennai General Secretariat and submitted a petition. This was to request the Chief Minister to rename the road, where the actor’s house is located, after Vivek.

In Alwarthirunagar under the chairmanship of Virugambakkam Assembly Member Prabhakar Raja, Minister Ma Subramaniam, who was present at a function said, "The Tamil Nadu government has accepted the request of the late actor Vivek's wife Arulselvi". He also said that the opening ceremony of the street nameplate with Vivek's name will be held on the third of May.

Padmavati Nagar Main Road, where he lived, has now been officially renamed “Chinna Kalaivanar Vivek Road". A Government Order has been issued by the Municipal Administration and Water Supply Department in this regard. The order was passed off of a recommendation that came in from the Chennai Corporation themselves to rename the street.

Vivek was one of the leading comedians as well as an actor, television personality, playback singer, and social activist in the Tamil film industry who passed away on 17 April 2022 as a result of a cardiac arrest. The renowned comedian Vivek was popularly called ‘Chinna Kalaivanar’ for his social reformative dialogues in Tamil cinema. He was bestowed with the Padma Shri Award, India’s fourth-highest civilian award in 2009 for his contribution to the arts. Throughout his career, he had acted in over 220 films.

 As a television personality, Vivek hosted a number of events and interviewed prominent media personalities, most notably A. P. J. Abdul Kalam. Inspired by Kalam's environmentalism, Vivek founded the Green Kalam initiative in 2010 with the mission of planting one billion trees across Tamil Nadu. Vivek was also appointed as an ambassador for the Plastic Pollution Free Tamil Nadu campaign by the state's government under the leadership of Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami in 2018. 

Leading Tamil actor Dhanush's Maaran directed by Karthick Naren under the prestigious Sathya Jyothi Films banner and featuring music by G. V. Prakash Kumar is scheduled for a direct premiere on March 11 on Disney+ Hotstar. With the film's OTT release in less than a week, lyricist Vivek, who was announced to be a part of the upcoming investigative action thriller as the dialogue and screenplay writer, released a statement on social media on Friday evening informing that he is no longer associated with the high-profile venture while citing creative differences to be the reason.

In a series of tweets, Vivek stated that he is happy with the response to the Maaran trailer and the dialogues featured in it, but clarified that they were not written by him. He wrote, "Very happy to see so much, such love towards #Maaran trailer n Dialogues. As many of U hav pointed out, maaran is coming out as a stylish, commercial n emotional film. I m equally excited to watch d film like U. But those dialogues r not mine. Credits to the dialogue writer." The popular lyricist added, "Due to creative differences i chose to move out of #Maaran as a dialogue n screenplay writer. Thanks team for respecting my decision. Today I am part of some of d biggest movies in india as a dialogue n screenplay writer. Wil always remember dat Maaran was d starting point😘" Vivek concluded saying, "I owe a lot to  @SathyaJyothi ( @TGThyagarajan sir, Arjun, Siddharth, Sendhil, Prashanth Brothers) for placing so much trust in me. Initially, it was announced that Maaran would have a screenplay and dialogues written by Vivek along with popular Malayalam writers Sharfu and Suhas of Varathan and Virus fame. The unexpected exit of Vivek from Maaran will come as a big surprise for fans, who are gearing up to witness Dhanush in action as a journalist alongside youth sensation Malavika Mohan, with Mookuthi Amman fame Smruthi Venkat and Soorarai Pottru actor Krishna Kumar cast in pivotal roles, while Samuthirakani is playing the antagonist.

Comedy horror films have fetched success for several notable names in Tamil cinema over the years and blockbuster director-actor Sundar. C is one among them with his Aranmanai franchise. The hit filmmaker-turned-actor's next, Aranmanai 3, scheduled to hit screens on October 14 on the auspicious occasion of Ayudha Pooja, has been jointly produced by Avni Cinemax and Benzz Media, with music composed by C. Sathya. Starring Arya and Raashi Khanna in the lead roles and Andrea Jeremiah as well cast in a pivotal role, promotions for the film have already kicked off, with the makers on Thursday releasing the much-awaited Aranmanai 3 trailer. 

The Aranmanai 3 trailer has packed in quite a punch and teases fans on the treat that awaits them when the film hits theatres next month. We see the story revolves primarily around Raashi Khanna's character in the present and Andrea appearing as a ghost. The Aranmanai 3 trailer shows Arya and Raashi Khanna as the lead pair and the duo stumbling across a ghost haunting the palace where they are at, with director Sundar. C also making an important appearance. The trailer has been cut exceptionally well, with the film set to be late comedy superstar Padmashri Dr. Vivekh's final appearance on the big screen after he passed away in April this year. 

Expectations for Aranmanai 3 are high as Sundar. C has hit the bullseye in the past with the previous two films in the franchise. Apart from Arya, Raashi Khanna, Andrea, Vivek and Sundar. C, the upcoming film also has in its star cast names like Yogi Babu, Manobala, Sakshi Agarwal, Myna Nandhini, and several others in major supporting roles. Aranmanai 3 has been censored with a U/A certificate and will be released by Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies. The film's technical team includes cinematographer UK Senthil Kumar and editor Fenny Oliver, while the stunt sequences have been choreographed by Peter Hein, Thalapathy Dinesh, and Pradeep Dinesh.

Dhanush's entertainer film Pattas was written and directed by RS Durai Senthilkumar and the star was seen in dual roles in the film. Pattas had Sneha and Mehreen Pirzada as the two leading ladies. Dhanush's first film of 2020, Pattas, featured him in dual roles for the second time after the 2016 super-hit, Kodi, and on this occasion as father and son under RS Durai Senthilkumar's direction. The action drama produced under the Sathya Jyothi Films banner included chart-buster music by the Vivek-Mervin duo and has turned out to be a commercial success for the makers, who have been giving fans various treats from the film in the form of promos and video songs.

Sathya Jyothi Films have now released the much-awaited 'Mavane' song's full video from Pattas featured on Dhanush honing his skills in the ancient Tamil martial art, Adimurai, alongside the female leads Sneha and Mehreen Pirzada and the film's antagonist Naveen Chandra. Arivu has penned the lyrics for the 'Mavane' song while also singing it along with the film's composer Vivek Siva with the track since its release going on to be lauded by fans for its intensity as well rap verses.

Actor Harish Kalyan has become a youth heart-throb in Tamil Nadu of late after starring in films namely Pyaar Prema Kaadhal, Ispade Rajavum Idhaya Raniyum, Dhanusu Raasi Neyargale including a cameo in Nani's Jersey in Telugu. His upcoming film, Dharala Prabhu, a romantic comedy drama, is an official remake of the smash hit 2012 Hindi film, Vicky Donor, and has been directed by Krishna Marimuthu. Produced by Screen Scene Media Entertainment, promotions on Dharala Prabhu are being carried out at an active pace in light of the film's theatrical release tomorrow (March 13) with a hilarious new second sneak peek featured on comedy superstar Vivek now being released.

Dharala Prabhu has Harish Kalyan paired opposite Tanya Hope and also includes Vivek and Sachu in supporting roles with the biggest USP for the film being the songs composed by Anirudh Ravichander, Bharath Shankar, Inno Genga, Kaber Vasuki, Madley Blues, Oorka, Sean Roldan and the Vivek-Mervin duo. National Award-winning actor Dhanush's 2020 kicked off with the Pongal release, Pattas, which had him playing dual roles for the second occasion in his career after the 2016 film, Kodi, and this time as father and son. Dhanush had recently wrapped up filming for his two upcoming ventures - Jagame Thandhiram under Karthik Subbaraj's direction and Karnan with Pariyerum Perumal director Mari Selvaraj.

With Dhanush announced to be part of a few more upcoming films which include D43 with Mafia director Karthick Naren and Sun Pictures' D44 in Tamil and Atrangi Re in Hindi alongside Akshay Kumar and Sara Ali Khan, reputed Tamil film production banner, Sathya Jyothi Films has now released the 'Piriyadha Enna' song's video from Pattas, which has been composed by the Vivek - Mervin duo featuring vocals by Vijay Yesudas and Niranjana to the lyrics penned by Ku.Karthik.

'Piriyadha Enna' from Pattas has been featured on the father Dhanush character and Sneha, who played his romantic interest with the film directed by RS Durai Senthilkumar going on to become a decent success at the box office. Among the several big highlights in the action drama, the songs composed by Vivek-Mervin gave a big boost with the album turning out to be a huge success.
