Vikram Prabhu has come out of his comfort zone once again to play the lead in Neruppuda, a movie about fire fighters. A lot of actors often comment how risky it is to work with fire as it spreads fast and often leads to accidents.
“The entire shot was rehearsed for 4 days and I had to step into a wooden set which was so hot in just seconds. As soon as I walked in, the flame engulfed me on all sides and somehow I managed to find the extra, to carry him outside. It was just 15 seconds and as soon as I walked out, the burning roof fell down,” exclaims Vikram Prabhu still shaken from his Neruppuda experience.
Neruppuda is produced by Chandraa Arts, First Artist and Innovations.

It is easy to guess that whenever Vikram Prabhu is the lead in a movie, it usually have very strong script and lots of action moments. Director SR Prabhakaran who has done films like Sundara Pandian has come up with a true story inspired by real life characters.
“I have done a couple of movies so far and it was easier to connect with this particular role because of how strong it was sketched. The same was also carried forward with all other characters and not just mine which makes Sathriyan stand out from most other action films,” said Vikram Prabhu while sharing his experience working in the film.

Dhanush’s long-awaited Thodari and Vikram Prabhu’s Wagah are likely to clash at the box office on August 12. Thodari, which stars Dhanush and Keerthy Suresh in the lead, looks like a real treat for fans. Directed by Prabhu Solomon, the film is set during a train journey from North to South. From the trailer, it looks like Dhanush will play the role of a pantry worker and Keerthy as a passenger. The train gets hijacked by terrorists and the drama unveils. It looks like the director has given the right blend of drama and humour.
Wagah, which has the backdrop of a military background, will see Vikram Prabhu appearing in an action avatar. The beautiful Ranya Rao pairs with the actor, who makes her Kollywood debut. Directed by G. N. R. Kumaravelan of Ninaithale Inikkum, the film is produced by Vijay Bhargavi Films.

In the film, Vikram Prabhu is reportedly playing the role of a cab driver. The film revolves around the cabbie, who will be cheated by the villain and the rest is an interesting cat and mouse game. It is interesting that Vikram Prabhu has got his legendary grandfather Sivaji Ganesan's name in the title of the film. Dhanush launched the trailer of Vikram Prabhu starrer Sigaram Thodu today at a grand function held today.
Talking at the event Dhanush said, "I came here for Vikram. We work out at the gym together. Becoming a good actor is easy being a good human is difficult and Vikram's upbringing has made him an amazing human being." The National Award winning actor had words of praise for the music composer of the movie Imman as well. "Imman sir has matured as a music director," he said.
Dhanush wished the entire team for the success of the movie.
Directed by Gaurav Narayanan, the music of the movie is composed by D. Imaan. The movie stars Vikram Prabhu, Monal Gujjar and Sathyaraj. The movie is produced by UTV Motion Pictures.

After the success of Saivam, director Vijay is all set with the script of his next film in which actor Vikram Prabhu will be playing the lead role. The yet to be titled film is expected to be a romantic drama which is to be produced by Listin Stephan.
We hear that the director will start working on the film from August second week. Director Vijay also added that he has planned to shoot the film in Chennai. The makers will be finalizing the cast and crew soon.
The Saivam director also said that he likes experimenting with new genres and decided to direct a romantic film. He further added that this film will be on relationships and the problems we face.
