Vikram Prabhu is a popular actor who has acted in many hit films. The next project of the actor is Paayum Oli Nee Yenakku after the Blockbuster hit film Ponniyin Selvan I and II in which he plays the role of Parthibendra Pallavan. The actor is set to star alongside Vani Bhojan in the film directed by debutante director Karrthik Adwait. The director is also a producer of the film under his own banner Karrthik Movie House. The film also has Dhananjaya and Vivek Prasanna In important roles. The makers have shared the trailer for the film which has become a trending video on YouTube. The trailer also shows the release date of the film to be June 29. 

The trailer of Paayum Oli Nee Yenakku shows the character played by Vikram Prabhu as Aravind who cannot see in the dark and is partially blind. The video then shows some intense action sequences where a bunch of goons surround him and then are seen targeting him knowing he could not see at night. The video then shows the actress Vani Bhojan and some shots of the actress training from a young age. The video then shows the villain of the film. It then shows massive action sequences and chasing. The video then shows a glimpse of the character played by Vivek Prasanna of Meyaadha Maan fame. It then ends with the villain challenging the hero.

Paayum Oli nee Yenakku trailer shows the action packed thriller film will have Vikram Prabu in the role of a differently-abled person who is partially blind. As it is set to release in theatres next week, promotions for the film can be expected to begin soon. It has music by Sagar and an Original Background score by Saketh. The release of the trailer created huge excitement among fans and movie buffs.

The makers have now released the video of the song, ‘Mannava’ from the film. This soulful number is crooned by Shakthisree Gopalan and composed by Sid Sriram who made his debut as a composer with the film. The song has been penned by Siva Ananth. This newly released video song establishes the relationship of Madonna Sebastian and Vikram Prabhu and their exchange of emotions.

The film has been shot by cinematographer Preetha Jayaraman and cut by Sangathamizhan. Produced by Madras Talkies and directed by Dhana, Vaanam Kottattum’s story and screenplay was penned together by Mani Ratnam and Dhana. Vikram Prabhu is all set for the release of his next, Asura Guru, which is scheduled to hit the screens on March 13. This action thriller is directed by newcomer A Raajdheep and features Mahima Nambiar as the female lead. Ahead of the film’s release, the team of Asura Guru is busy promoting the film through interviews and promotional events. On that note, Galatta Media had an extensive chat with Vikram Prabhu discussing about Asura Guru and his various other upcoming projects, including the historical biggie, Ponniyin Selvan, directed by Mani Ratnam. 

Talking about Ponniyin Selvan, Vikram Prabhu said, “I have signed in the agreement mentioning that I will not talk about the film until the release. I have been asked to put on more weight and grow a thick beard and I am in the process of doing that. As far as I know, there are 27 actors in the film and it will be big. It is coming out really well. We recently shot in Thailand and it was a ‘vera-level’ experience. I am sure that it will be a great experience for the audience as well. I can’t say anything more than this. I will get phone calls if I talk anything more (laughs).”

Actor Vikram Prabhu's last release, Vaanam Kottattum, under ace director Mani Ratnam's Madras Talkies banner fetched him good reviews for his action-packed performance and is currently a part of the celebrated filmmaker's upcoming magnum opus, Ponniyin Selvan, which is an adaptation of Tamil writer Kalki Krishnamurthy's acclaimed novel of the same name. Vikram Prabhu is also attached to the upcoming intense action crime thriller film, Asuraguru, directed by A. Raajdheep and is scheduled for a theatrical release on March 13.

Produced by JSB Sathish under the JSB Film Studios banner, Asuraguru will see Vikram Prabhu romancing Mahima Nambiar of Kuttram 23 and Magamuni fame with the film's dialogues penned by Kabilan Vairamuthu and Chandru Manickavasagam. With promotions for Asuraguru already kicking off sometime back, the makers have now released the 'Thani Iravu' song's lyrical video with the track sung by Padmalatha and is featured on Vikram Prabhu and Mahima Nambiar.

Asuraguru includes in its supporting cast names like Yogi Babu, Nagineedu, Subbaraju among others with the music for the film composed by newcomer Ganesh Raghavendra and Simon K. King in charge of the background score followed by cinematography by Ramalingam and editing by Lawrence Kishore. Vikram Prabhu, who has shown his mettle as a performer in the recent, Vaanam Kottattum, had also given notable performances in films like Arima Nambi, Sathriyan, 60 Vayadu Maaniram despite not seeing big commercial success and will be hoping to hit the bullseye with his Asuraguru in less than two weeks time.

Vikram Prabhu, who was recently seen in Mani Ratnam’s production venture, Vaanam Kottattum, has signed his next Tamil film and the announcement about it has been made. This new film has got an interesting title - Paayum Oli Nee Yenakku, named after Subramania Bharathiyar’s lines. This film will be directed by debutant Karthik Chowdary, while the cinematography will be handled by Suresh Bhargav, a former associate of Balu Mahendra. Mahati Swara Sagar, son of ace music director Mani Sharma, will compose the songs and music for the film and it will mark his debut in Tamil cinema.

National award winning editor Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao will be taking care of the editing department. Paayum Oli Nee Yenakku is produced by Kumaraswamy Pathikonda under the banner of Maha Mahalakshmi Arts. The film’s shooting is planned to start from April 2020, after Vikram Prabhu finishes his ongoing commitments.

The ‘Kumki’ actor is also a part of Mani Ratnam’s historical epic, Ponniyin Selvan and he will soon join the team for shooting his portions. Apart from these two films, he also has Asuraguru which is waiting to hit the screens on a suitable date. Happening days ahead for Vikram Prabhu!

Vaanam Kottattum is an upcoming romantic family drama directed by Dhana, a former associate of director Mani Ratnam. This film is produced by Madras Talkies, while Mani Ratnam has penned the story and screenplay along with Dhana. Starring Vikram Prabhu, Madonna Sebastian, Aishwarya Rajesh, Sarathkumar, Radikaa Sarathkumar, Shanthnu Bhagyaraj and Amitash Pradhan, Vaanam Kottattum has music by the sensation singer Sid Sriram. The theatrical teaser of this film has now been released online and it is sure to gain buzz on the Internet.

From what we see in this teaser, it looks like the film will be high on romance and family emotions. Aishwarya Rajesh gets to play a vibrant young girl who is the sweetheart of the family. Vikram Prabhu plays her elder brother, while Radikaa and Sarathkumar play their parents. It looks like Sarathkumar comes back home after spending a few years in prison. How the family accepts Sarathkumar back in the family seems to be the basic outline of the story. 

The film has cinematography by Preetha Jayaraman and editing by Sangathamizhan. Recently, the theatrical distribution rights of Vaanam Kottattum was bagged by Y Not X Studios. Through this teaser, it has been announced that the film will release on February 7. This teaser has been released on the official YouTube channel of Sony Music who owns the film’s audio rights. Vikram Prabhu is currently shooting for two projects. One is Thuppakki Munai pairing with Hansika Motwani and produced by V Creations Kalaipuli Thanu.

Other one is Asura Guru with the filmmaker Rajdeep Singh who has previously done a Punjabi film named Young Malang.

Currently, Vikram Prabhu is at Hyderabad, in a night shoot at Ramoji Film City for this movie. It looks like a risky shot. But dedication is the key for Kumki star.

Vikram Prabhu has come out of his comfort zone once again to play the lead in Neruppuda, a movie about fire fighters. A lot of actors often comment how risky it is to work with fire as it spreads fast and often leads to accidents.

“The entire shot was rehearsed for 4 days and I had to step into a wooden set which was so hot in just seconds. As soon as I walked in, the flame engulfed me on all sides and somehow I managed to find the extra, to carry him outside. It was just 15 seconds and as soon as I walked out, the burning roof fell down,” exclaims Vikram Prabhu still shaken from his Neruppuda experience.

Neruppuda is produced by Chandraa Arts, First Artist and Innovations.

It is easy to guess that whenever Vikram Prabhu is the lead in a movie, it usually have very strong script and lots of action moments. Director SR Prabhakaran who has done films like Sundara Pandian has come up with a true story inspired by real life characters.

“I have done a couple of movies so far and it was easier to connect with this particular role because of how strong it was sketched. The same was also carried forward with all other characters and not just mine which makes Sathriyan stand out from most other action films,” said Vikram Prabhu while sharing his experience working in the film.
