Arun Vijay and director Hari kick-off Yaanai third schedule | Priya Bhavani Shankar | GV Prakash
Leading Tamil actor Arun Vijay's next film, Yaanai, under blockbuster filmmaker Hari's direction has already wrapped two important schedules. The star took to social media on Friday to inform fans that the third leg of filming has begun, while sharing a poster featuring himself from the upcoming film. Touted to be an action venture, Yaanai being produced under the Drumsticks Productions banner is incidentally the first-time collaboration for director Hari with Arun Vijay, who is paired with youth sensation Priya Bhavani Shankar for the second time after they were seen last year in Mafia. Below is the tweet:
Started our 3rd schedule for #Yaanai!! 🎬📽#DirectorHari @gvprakash @priya_Bshankar @thondankani @iYogiBabu @realradikaa @Ammu_Abhirami @gopinathdop @editoranthony @DrumsticksProd @johnsoncinepro @DoneChannel1 pic.twitter.com/EskYczqxIf— ArunVijay (@arunvijayno1) October 8, 2021
The buzz surrounding Yaanai has been high as it will also be releasing in Telugu under the title Enugu, with a major chunk of filming already wrapped in Dhanushkodi in Tamil Nadu last month. Although there has been no word on the film's release plans up until now, we can assume the makers will be looking to wrap up production soon and get it out in theatres sometime by the end of the year or early 2022. The team had released four posters for Yaanai featuring Arun Vijay, which teased plenty of high-octane action; an element that has been a staple of all Hari films and have garnered him a big following.
Apart from Arun Vijay and Priya Bhavani Shankar as the lead pair, Yaanai also includes an ensemble star cast featuring names like Prakash Raj, Radikaa Sarathkumar, Yogi Babu, Rajesh, Imman Annachi, Jayapalan, Thalaivasal Vijay, Ammu Abhirami, Cook with Comali fame Pugazh in pivotal roles and KGF fame Garuda Ram as the antagonist, with music by G. V. Prakash Kumar. Expectations for Yaanai are quite high as fans await to witness Hari make a thunderous comeback after his Saamy 2 in 2018 didn't perform as expected at the box office.

Lately, a few of the VMI members out of extreme fondness and curiousity have been photoshopping pictures of our Thalapathy along with other leaders.
