Suriya 42 is expected to be the biggest spectacle of Indian Cinema. Suriya has been delivering hit films lately, including Jai Bhim and Soorarai Pottru. It was announced that director Siva, who directed Annatthe with 'Superstar' Rajinikanth, has joined Suriya for his next project. The motion poster shows that the periodic action flick will be released entirely in 3D. The film is mounted on a massive budget and is said to be a pan-India flick that will be released in multiple languages. It is set to be co-produced by UV Creation with music by Devi Sri Prasad and the cast could include Disha Patani, Yogi Babu, Kovai Sarala, Anand Raj, Redin Kingsley, Ravi Raghavendra and others. On Monday, the makers announced that the title glimpse of the “mighty valiant saga” will be released on April 4th. 

Madhan Karky has shared his experiences in writing many lyrics for various songs and dialogues for films in an exclusive interview with Galatta Media. The well-known award-winning lyricists also shared about the Suriya 42 in the interview. When the anchor asked about the film the lyricist Madhan Karky said “I can't reveal anything about the film now, The producer, the director or the actor Suriya can only reveal details the project. But I had a great experience with director Siva and I am working with him for the first time as a dialogue writer and I am working with Devi Sri Prasad for the first time for songs (as a lyricist)." Madhan Karky said “I have also worked in many films and Devi Sir Prasad has also worked in many films. We have spoken before, but have not worked together. The film is coming up really well. I went to the shooting spot two to three-time and its going to be a terrific film. it will be a different, something that Siva sir has not done before and it will be an important project in Suriya Sir's career. I think the feeling that was there in writing and has been carried well into a film and I think it will communicate well with the people when they watch it. It's going to be a very big film." One of the most popular heroines of South Cinema currently, is the gorgeous Rashmika Mandanna, who burst onto the scene with the Kannada movie Kirik Party, in 2016. After a couple of Kannada movies, she made her debut in Tollywood and with her very second movie - Geetha Govindam, alongside Vijay Deverakonda, she became a household name. The blockbuster 'Inkem Inkem' song, immediately turned her into a youth sensation and she followed it up with a memorable performance in her latest release - Dear Comrade. Despite not starring in a Tamil or Malayalam movie yet, Rashmika has quite a fan following among the audiences across all the South industries. She has a huge lineup of movies in the offing, including her Tamil debut Sulthan, alongside Karthi.

Rashmika was awarded with the 'Youth Icon of South India' award, at the Galatta Wonder Women 2019 Awards, which was held on October 20th, at the Anna Centenary Library auditorium, in Chennai. Presenting her the award was the much-sought-after director Siruthai Siva. Siruthai Siva got on-stage through a special entry to thunderous applause from fans and was cheered on and on for quite some time before he could even address the gathering. He promised that Thalaivar 168 with Superstar Rajinikanth would be an action loaded family entertainer and that they would begin shoot soon. Rashmika then made a splashing entry on stage and couldn't stop beaming at the response from the crowd.

Rashmika was overwhelmed with the crowd support and stated that she was very happy with the response from Tamil audiences even before she has actually completed shooting for even 1 Tamil movie fully. She also added that she would try and dub for herself, in Sulthan. On the anchors' request, Rashmika then shook her legs to the chartbusting 'Rowdy Baby' number from Dhanush and Sai Pallavi's Maari 2. Rashmika and Siva raised the roof at the auditorium and we thank the both of them for gracing the Wonder Women Awards and making it a grand success!

Director Siva is currently shooting for his next film Viswasam with Thala Ajith. It is his career’s fifth film and fourth collaboration with actor Ajith. Recently, there was a news spreading on the internet that Siva will be directing actor Sivakarthikeyan in his movie and it was also said that the project will be bankrolled by Sun Pictures. But, the news has resulted as a baseless rumour.

The sources close to our team have confirmed us that Tollywood star Allu Arjun will play the male lead role in director Siva’s next movie. The project will be bankrolled by Studio Green Productions. We have also been informed that it will be a Telugu and Tamil bilingual.

Director Siva is currently shooting for his next film Viswasam with Thala Ajith which is slated to release for Pongal 2018. The filmmaker's previous ventures are Siruthai, Veeram, Vedalam, and Vivegam. There is a news spreading on the internet since this morning regarding director Siva’s next film. It is rolling out that Siva will be directing rising star Sivakarthikeyan in his next film and it is also said that Sun Pictures will be bankrolling the project.

Production on the first schedule for ‘Thala’ Ajith’s Viswasam wrapped up not long back at the Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad and the team will soon be flagging off the second schedule in the coming days.

Touted to be a rural entertainer, a lot has been debated about director Siva’s Viswasam regarding its plot and the latest being the stunt sequences designed by Dhilip Subbarayan.

In an exclusive interview to Galatta, Dhilip Subbarayan went on the reveal how the stunts in Viswasam will be emotional and will move in tandem with the plot.

He further stated fans will get to witness director Siva akin to his efforts in the Karthi starrer, Siruthai, which went on to become a blockbuster in 2011.

Dhilip then said one fight sequence has already been shot in the first schedule with many more to follow in the upcoming days.

A Sathya Jyothi Films production, Viswasam has actress Nayanthara as the female lead alongside Robo Shankar, Yogi Babu, Thambi Ramaiah, Bose Venkat, Ramesh Tilak among others with music by D. Imman.

 Director AR Murugadoss is finalizing the technical team for Thalapathy 62 and it’s his third time association with Vijay after Thuppaki, Kaththi.

Following close in the lines of director Siva who did three films with Thala Ajith, AR Murugadoss has brought in Sreekar Prasad as the editor for the untitled movie for the third time in a row after Kaththi and Thuppaki.

Siva did the same by hiring cinematographer Vetri for three times for Veeram, Vedalam and Vivegam. It is no wonder directors prefer to work with familiar technicians repeatedly and heroes feel the same as Thala prefers Siva for the fourth time with Viswasam.

Actor Ajith and Siruthai Siva joined hands for Veeram which took the box office by storm. The film has Ajith and Tamannah in the lead roles. Post the success of Veeram, speculations are rife that Ajith and Siruthai Siva will be teaming up once again.

Looks like the time has come for the duo to come together for a film. Sources say that Siruthai Siva has started on his script for a film that will have Ajith in the lead role. We hear that the director would soon narrate the story to the actor.

It is said that the team is planning to kick start the film from November. Let us wait for an official confirmation from reliable sources.

After Veeram’s mammoth success, Ajith's next movie is with Gautham Vasudev Menon. The untitled project is scheduled to go on floors by March. Anushka had been signed opposite Ajith in this film.

Even before the start of this movie, the buzz about his next project are doing the rounds. It is heard that after completing Gautham Menon’s project Ajith will be teaming up with Siruthai Siva again. Well, let's cross our fingers and hope this news is true.

Tonsuring their heads as an offering to God is quite common in our country. This time its our very own Thala Ajith and Siruthai Siva. Yes, both of them have tonsured their heads at the Tirumala temple in Tirupathi. Sources say that with Veeram's release being less than a month away, the director and actor offered their hair praying for the film's success. 

Ajith's side has officially confirmed this news that both of them tonsured their heads for completing the movie successfully. We all know that in the recent past, Ajith had visited the temple on a frequent basis.

Karthi's Siruthai in December?

Karthi Sivakumar rose to fame in Kollywood with his very first film Paruthiveeran, and went on to win the Filmfare Best Tamil Male Debut Award and the Filmfare Best Actor Award. He has been flooded with offers right after his debut flick Paruthiveeran.

After the roaring success of Naan Mahaan Alla which released recently, Karthi is currently busy with his next film Siruthai (remake of Ravi Teja's Vikramakudu). Now the latest buzz is that the film is all set to grace theatres in December. Siruthai is directed by Tollywood filmmaker Shiva and K.E. Gnanavelraja of Studio Green is producing it.
