Breaking: Seema Raja director Ponram's next with Sasikumar has been titled...
By MKV | Galatta | 02:10 PM
Director Ponram burst onto the cinema scene with the massive hit - Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam, in 2013. He followed It up with yet another blockbuster in Rajini Murugan, in 2016 and then came the 2018 movie Seema Raja. In all these three movies, he worked with almost the same team, with Sivakarthikeyan and Soori being a part of all three projects! However, Seema Raja could not replicate the same levels of success as the first two movies but still did decent business in rural areas. It was recently announced that his next project would be with director-turned-actor Sasikumar.
We now have further details regarding this new movie. Sasikumar's project with director Ponram has been titled MGR Magan. Following his usual trend, this new project will also be a rural family entertainer. Another interesting aspect is that Sathyaraj will be playing a very pivotal role in this movie. Sathyaraj earlier played an important role in Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam too. It was originally reported that Rajkiran, who had earlier acted in Rajini Murugan, would be a part of this project too but he was then replaced by Sathyaraj. Ponram is known for interlacing humour all through his movies and it can be expected in this project too. There are also reports that following this project, Ponram will next be working with Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi, for a new project under Karthik Subbaraj's production.
Meanwhile, Sasikumar's latest release Kennedy Club sank without a trace at the Box Office and he would surely want this movie to become a hit. He has Enai Noki Paayum Thota and Naadodigal 2 awaiting release and Kombu Vacha Singamda, Rajavamsam, Naa Naa and Paramaguru, in various stages of production. Stay tuned for further updates...

By Ashwin Prabhu | Galatta | 11:11 PM
Co-producer Ashok Kumar works with director Sasikumar in Company Productions and has been associated with him for more than seven long years.
However, he has pushed to such an extent that he had to commit suicide in order to escape the torture of Anbu Chezhiyan who is a financier and has been regularly collecting interest for so many years from the production house.
“I wanted to kill or kill myself. I choose to die because there are people who may get affected more if I kill.
