'Thalapathy' Vijay's Leo released in theatres worldwide on October 19 has turned out to be a phenomenal box office success and is continuing to witness a strong run in theatres everywhere. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj with music by Anirudh Ravichander, the mass-action drama film featured an ensemble star cast that included some of the biggest names in Tamil and Indian cinema starting with Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun, Mysskin, Gautham Menon, Mansoor Ali Khan, Sandy master, with popular Sri Lankan YouTuber and artiste Janany Kunaseelan also appearing in a key role in her acting debut in Tamil cinema. 

Janany Kunaseelan, who is already a youth sensation after her stint on Bigg Boss Tamil season 6, appeared as a barista in Vijay's coffee shop in Leo and featured in an action sequence that has the Tamil superstar taking on Mysskin and Sandy master. Explaining her experience shooting the intense fight scene, she said, "In the sequence, Sandy master would pull my arm. My hand is quite sensitive and I even sustained small bruises. I didn't inform anybody about the injury and was quiet during the shooting. I think even Sandy master prodded me to share it [with the film's unit], but I told him that it was okay as I didn't want anybody to go through any difficulties because of me. Prior to filming the scene, Loki anna (director Lokesh Kanagaraj) called me and narrated the scene in the coffee shop. He explained that the scene is set at night after my marriage takes place in the morning and told me to imagine how it would be if it happened for real." 

Speaking about the reaction of the cast and crew of Leo after shooting the fight scene, Janany said, "Everyone clapped. In fact, I had to pull Mysskin sir in the scene and I did that in one take. My mindset was that no artiste should feel that we're going for multiple takes because of me. Mysskin sir immediately clapped and urged everyone to do the same, and told me that he wanted me to act in his next film. Everyone told me that I acted well. I asked Loki anna whether the scene came out okay since he usually doesn't say anything. He said that he wouldn't have given it his nod if the shot wasn't okay."

We have officially entered the month of Kamal Haasan's Vikram's release as the film is now only three days away from coming out on the big screen worldwide starting June 3. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the action thriller produced under the Raaj Kamal Films International banner also stars 'Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi as the antagonist, followed by Malayalam superstar Fahadh Faasil in a pivotal role as a cop and Suriya making a cameo, with music composed by 'Rockstar' Anirudh Ravichander. Currently, the talk of the town, promotions for Vikram are being carried forward in a grand manner as Kamal Haasan and his team have been visiting major cities across the country to invite audiences to watch the pan-Indian film in theatres from this week. 

In that light, choreographer-actor Sandy Master recently took out time to speak to Galatta about working with Kamal Haasan in Vikram, who shed light on shooting the dance sequences that were developed for the 'Pathala Pathala' song. Upon being asked about the idea that was formulated for the use of dialogues in the 'Pathala Pathala' song, Sandy stated, "During the shooting, we told Kamal sir that it would be better if he spoke at that particular moment and it was Lokesh sir who came up with that dialogue." He added, "After that, we sent the dialogue to Anirudh and he did a tremendous job in the final mix and added the 'Janaki voice' lines in the song." Sandy also opened up on the famous shirt tucked over the head dance step and said, "The foundation of the song is having a fun time, and based on this we imagined how it would look if Kamal sir did the step. I was initially nervous about doing the steps in front of him because of his vast experience and performed the song segment by segment. In the end, when I pulled my shirt over my head and danced, Kamal sir laughed and gave me his approval for the steps."

Kamal Haasan's Vikram being directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj kicked off filming a while back being announced last year and is a Raaj Kamal Films International venture featuring music by 'Rockstar' Anirudh Ravichander. Currently in its second schedule in Pondicherry after a major leg of filming wrapped up sometime back at Karaikudi, Vikram, which also includes 'Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi and leading Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil in pivotal roles, has now made yet another addition in the form of Bigg Boss Tamil season 3 Sandy master, who put up an impressive display of his antics on the smash hit Vijay Television show's 2019 edition. 

Taking to Instagram, Sandy on Sunday dropped the news of joining the Vikram team as a choreographer while also sharing a selfie with the film's director Lokesh Kanagaraj. Sandy wrote, "Thank you so much Sir for the opportunity. To work for VIKRAM movie with @ikamalhaasan Sir!!! As a Choreographer ...This movie is definitely going to be a milestone in my Career! It was absolutely an amazing learning experience working with you Sir. Lovee youu Thalaaaa!! Cheers to making more Movies & Memoriess together!" Sandy, who came in as the first runner-up on Bigg Boss Tamil season 3, is now a household name across Tamil Nadu and will himself be seen making his debut as a hero in the upcoming horror thriller, Moonu Muppathi Moonu. Earlier on Saturday evening, Lokesh Kanagaraj surprised fans by sharing a photo from the Vikram shooting spot of himself in which he is seen discussing a scene with Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil. Expectations for the film have been massive ever since it was announced that 'Ulaganayagan' Kamal Haasan would be sharing screen space with National Award winners Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil. The talk about the film among fans shot up after it was revealed that youth sensation and Bigg Boss Tamil season 4 star Shivani Narayanan, VJ Maheshwari and Vijay TV serial Saravanan Meenatchi fame Myna Nandhini would be appearing in the film and would reportedly be the romantic interests of Vijay Sethupathi. The excitement for Vikram didn't stop just there as the film's cast also includes Paava Kadhaigal fame Kalidas Jayaram and Kaithi actor Narain in major supporting roles, with the technical team featuring names like Meyaadha Maan and Aadai director Rathna Kumar for the dialogues, cinematographer Girish Gangadharan, and the National Award-winning stunt choreographer duo Anbariv for the action.

Popular Tamil cinema choreographer Sandy became a sensation across the state after his stint on the smash hit Vijay Television reality TV show, Bigg Boss, in 2019. Participating on the show as one among the sixteen contestants, Sandy ended up coming in as the first runner-up on Bigg Boss Tamil season 3, with Malaysian singer-actor Mugen Rao being adjudged as the winner. Sandy master, as he is fondly called by fans and those in the industry, tied the knot with Dorathy Sylvia in 2017, with the couple being blessed with a daughter in 2018 whom they named Tasha, including a son born on July 22 this year. 

Up until now, no photos of Sandy and Dorathy's son were shared on social media, with many fans over the past few months waiting to witness their little bundle of joy. In that light, the couple took to social media on Thursday to reveal that they have named their baby boy S. D. Shawn Michael, including posting adorable photos of the little one. Sharing pictures of the baby on Instagram, Sandy wrote, "Introducing My dear King. SD Shawn Michael. Thank you all for your prayers & Blessings till noww...Kindly continue to bless us," while Dorathy posted the same photos and said, "Welcome back Daddy," and added a couple of love emojis. Sandy's wife, Dorathy Sylvia gave birth to a baby boy, yesterday (July 22) and both the mother and the newborn are said to be in good health. Sharing a picture of him holding the baby's hand, Sandy Master wrote, " Our king is born 👑❤️ Love you so much my dear kannamma ❤️❤️😍 @dorathy_sylviasandy @suzzannahmichelle ".

The post has gone viral among the fans and wishes have been pouring in from all quarters for Sandy Master and Dorathy. Popular Tamil dance choreographer Sandy Master, who rose to fame after becoming the runner-up of Bigg Boss Tamil: Season 3, is all set to make his debut as a lead hero with an upcoming Tamil film. This new film will be a horror thriller and it is directed by debutant Chandru. The film will also mark the debut of popular Tamil television serial actress, Shruthi Selvam who plays the female lead in this film. Shruthi rose to fame after playing the role of Simran in Zee Tamil's Yaaradi Nee Mohini serial. Apart from Sandy and Shruthi Selvam, the film will also feature Rama, Bigg Boss fame Reshma Pasupuleti, Mime Gopi, and Saravanan in pivotal roles.

The shooting of this untitled horror thriller is happening in the suburbs of Chennai. The film is majorly set inside a house and director Chandru is said to have penned a very intriguing script. The film is expected to showcase Sandy in a different dimension and it is time for the Tamil audience to witness the actor inside him. According to a report in Times of India, actress Shruthi Selvam plays a very soft spoken girl from a humble background.
