Dulquer Salmaan is a popular actor who is celebrating his birthday today. The next film of the star that has created a huge anticipation is King of Kotha. It is said to be a Gangster drama flick from the Malayalam film industry, directed by debutant filmmaker Abilash Joshy, based on a story and screenplay written by Abhilash N Chandran. The makers of the film have released a peppy dance number titled Kalaattaakaaran (in Tamil), as a treat to the fans of the actor on his birthday. The song is sung by Benny Dayal, music composer Jakes Bejoy, and Haritha Balakrishnan. The song was simultaneously released in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.

The lyrical video of Kalaattaakaaran shows it's a sizzling dance number with actress Ritika Singh of Irudhi Suttru Fame setting the dance floor on fire. The song, composed by Jakes Bejoy, has lyrics penned by Mani Amuthavan in Tamil. The song video opens with a gang dancing in celebration of an occasion. The video then shows the entry of Dulquer Salmaan. The song lyrics compares the lead character of the film with the mythical character Raavana. The video shows a glimpse of dance and then showed the intro of Ritika Singh. The actress then joins Dulquer Salmaan in the dance number. The video also features some glimpses of the making of the song.

The teaser for the film King of Kotha was released at the end of June and showed the film will be fiery with high-voltage action sequences. The film also has an exciting ensemble of cast with Aishwarya Lakshmi plays the female lead, with Prasanna, Sarpatta Parambari star Dancing Rose Shabeer, Nyla Usha, Chemban Vinod, Gokul Suresh, Shammi Thilakan, Shanthi Krishna, Viswasam actress Anikha Surendran, and Vada Chennai fame Saran in pivotal roles. The film marks the debut of Zee Studios in Malayalam Cinema. The film is set for a grand release for the Onam Festival on August 25, 2023.

Vijay Antony is set to be seen next in his second big release of 2023, Kolai, hitting theatres worldwide on July 21. Promotions for the upcoming crime thriller film also releasing in Telugu under the title Hatya and directed by Vidiyum Munn fame Balaji Kumar are underway and the final trailer of the film is now out giving fans a glimpse at what awaits them in cinemas later this week. Kolai is Vijay Antony's second film of the year after the sensational response to his Pichaikkaran 2, which turned out to be a box office hit in Tamil, with the Telugu version as well raking in the moolah and becoming a massive commercial success. 

The Kolai trailer starts off introducing Meenakshi Chaudhary as an aspiring model, who is killed before she makes it big in the world. The news of her death becomes a big sensational controversy leading to a police investigation, who look to handle it carefully since it is a sensitive case. Ritika Singh of Irudhi Suttru and Oh My Kadavule fame is playing the role of a police officer, who gets a suggestion of involving a private detective named Vinayak portrayed by Vijay Antony. The Kolai trailer then progresses to show the duo investigating several persons, who could be suspects in the high-profile case among whom are Radhika Sarathkumar, Murli Sharma, Siddhartha Shankar, Kishore Kumar, Arjun Chidambaram, Samkit Bohra, while John Vijay is cast as a senior police official. 

This latest Kolai trailer is once again a treat for the eyes as the team has delivered stunning visuals, which will no doubt look grand on the big screen when the film releases in theatres this week. Produced by Infiniti Film Ventures in association with the Lotus Pictures banner and featuring music by Girishh Gopalakrishnan, who is known for his work in Mookuthi Amman and Netrikann fame, the film includes a talented technical team onboard among whom include NGK and Kolamaavu Kokila fame cinematographer Sivakumar Vijayan, whose visuals are expected to be a big talking point, with Selva RK's cuts on the editing table also in full effect after his stellar work in Karnan and Sarpatta Parambarai.

Congratulations are in order for actress Ritika Singh as she completed her Black Belt 3rd Dan grading exam alongside her father. Known best among Tamil cinema audiences for her performances in Irudhi Suttru (2016) and Oh My Kadavule (2020), the popular star took to social media to share the news of her latest achievement, while also posting photos and videos of the special occasion with her KSI karate family members. Currently representing India at the KSI Karate World Championship in South Africa, Ritika wrote on Instagram, "Feeling absolutely incredible after completing my Black Belt 3rd Dan grading exam alongside my dad, my Indian teammates and all the Senseis from across the world! Ritika is at present participating in the KSI Karate World Championship despite her upcoming film, Kolai, starring Vijay Antony, which is gearing up for its theatrical release on July 21. Fans will know that the actress is already a kickboxer and a mixed martial artist and has been trained by her father Mohan Singh, who himself holds black belts in karate and kickboxing. She earlier put up an Instagram Story and expressed her disappointment at not being able to take part in the promotions of Kolai, but shared her happiness and wishes for the film to become a hit at the box office. Ritika wrote, "Missed out on the grand audio launch that happened in Chennai for our film Kolai yesterday! So glad to see all the happy faces who made this film possible and are finally gearing up for the big release! Wishing the whole team a big success all the way from South Africa. Cannot wait for 21st July (sic)."

Ritika Singh, who won Special Mention at the 63rd National Film Awards for her performance in Madhavan's Irudhi Suttru directed by Sudha Kongara, became a youth heart-throb after she won hearts in her role as Anu Arjun in the 2020 romantic fantasy film, Oh My Kadavule, which also starred Ashok Selvan and Vani Bhojan under Ashwath Marimuthu's direction. As for her upcoming film Kolai alongside Vijay Antony, the film also releasing in Telugu under the title Hatya directed by Vidiyum Munn fame Balaji Kumar has been creating a lot of buzz of late. She is also set to make a special appearance in Malayalam superstar Dulquer Salmaan's highly-anticipated gangster drama, King of Kotha, which is scheduled to come out in theatres as a grand Onam release in August.

Romantic comedy has been a genre that has struck a chord with youngsters everywhere and the upcoming Tamil film, Oh My Kadavule, with its perky and attention-grabbing title will want to make it big when it comes out in theatres. Directed by newcomer Ashwath Marimuthu, the rom-com has Ashok Selvan and Irudhi Suttru actress Ritika Singh playing the lead roles with popular television star Vani Bhojan being cast as another female lead. Sha Ra and MS Bhaskar have been cast in vital supporting roles in this joint collaboration of Axess Film Factory and Happy High Pictures, which has music by Leon James while Meyaadha Maan fame Vidhu Ayyanna is handling cinematography. With promotions for Oh My Kadavule already underway, the makers have now released the peppy ‘Haiyo Haiyo’ song lyric video.

Composed and sung by Leon James, ‘Haiyo Haiyo’ has lyrics penned by Ko Sesha and is a lively track that will hit the high note with youngsters. Ritika Singh, the pretty actress who blew us away with her brilliant performance in Irudhi Suttru, is now getting ready for her next release Aandavan Kattalai on Friday, in which she shares screen space with Vijay Sethupathi. In an exclusive interview to Galatta.com, she has revealed that she was initially scared to share screen space with Vijay Sethupathi but the actor turned out to be very jovial and modest.

Directed by Manikandan of Kakka Muttai fame, Pooja Devariya, Yogi Babu, Nassar, Vela Ramamoorthy, R. N. R. Manohar, Cheenu Mohan and other form the supporting cast. The film is produced jointly by Gopuram Films, and Tribal Arts while distributed on a grand scale by Sri Green Productions.
