One of the leading actor-producer and politicians of the Tamil film Industry is Udhayanidhi Stalin. The actor had confirmed that Maamannan will be his late acting project as he was sworn in as the Tamil Nadu Minister for Youth Welfare and Sports Development in December. Maamannan has created huge anticipation amongst the fans as it's the next project of talented writer and directed by Mari Selvaraj, who was the mastermind behind critically acclaimed and blockbuster hit films Pariyerum Perumal and Karnan. The film has a star cast that includes Keerthy Suresh, Malayalam actor Fahad Faasil and 'Vaigai Puyal' Vadivelu. The technical aspects of the film are backed by editor Theni Eswar and cinematographer Selva RK.

The production house that backing the film Red Giant Movies has released an interesting update about the progress of the film. They posted photos of 'Vaigai Puyal' Vadivelu with Mari Selvaraj in a dubbing studio and said “Our Favourite Vadivelu sir starts dubbing for Maamannan”. This shows that the post-production work of the highly anticipated film is in work at a rapid phase. The couple of photos were enough for fans to begin raging about the trendsetting Comedian and actor. Maamannan will also have music composed by AR Rahman. The shooting of the project was wrapped up on September 12, 2022, and the cast and crew celebrated the birthday of Vadivelu on sets.

The trend-setting comedian 'Vaigai Puyal' Vadivelu was back on screen after a break with the film Naai Sekar Returns that was released in theatres. He's also playing a supporting role in the film Chandramukhi 2, as fans await to see Vadivelu take up more roles. Maamannan will be the last film with Udhayanidhi Stalin as a lead and his other film Kannai Nambathe is set to be released in theatres this month. Udhayanidhi Stalin will next be presenting the much-awaited Vishnu Vishal-starrer Gatta Kusthi under his Red Giant Movies banner across Tamil Nadu ahead of its theatrical release on December 2. Vishnu Vishal's Gatta Kusthi will no doubt be benefited big time with Udhayanidhi Stalin coming on board to release the film across Tamil Nadu considering the Red Giant Movies banner has been a big player in being a part of several ventures that have tasted massive box office success in 2022. Udhayanidhi is the man with the Midas touch this yearand he will be looking to hit the bullseye with Gatta Kusthi after distributing films like Suriya's Etharkkum Thunindhavan, 'Thalapathy' Vijay's Beast, Sivakarthikeyan's Don, Dhanush's Thiruchitrambalam, Silambarasan TR's Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu, Karthi's Sardar, including the recently-released Love Today to name a notable few. 

Gatta Kusthi marks Vishnu Vishal's reunion with director Chella Ayyavu after their Silukkuvarpatti Singam in 2018 and the film will see the actor paired opposite youth sensation Aishwarya Lekshmi, who is fresh off from her performance as Poonguzhali in Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan. The film is set amidst the rural backdrop and is expected to be a mass commercial entertainer appealing to mainstream audiences. Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies has bagged the Tamil Nadu theatrical rights of yet another movie and the details regarding the same have been revealed. Red Giant Movies will be presenting Sundar C's upcoming directorial venture, Coffee With Kaadhal which is currently in the final stages of post production. The announcement about this was made by the makers this morning (September 5) and it has garnered good buzz on social media. Red Giant Movies was already associated with the release of Sundar C's previous movie, Aranmanai 3 and it emerged successful at the box office.

The collaboration is set to continue one more time with Coffee With Kaadhal and Red Giant Movies will ensure the smooth and wide release of the movie. The release date of the film has also been revealed and it will hit the screens on October 7, the week after Ponniyin Selvan's release. Coffee With Kaadhal is an exciting multistarrer that features Jiiva, Jai, Srikanth, Bigil fame Amritha Aiyer, Malvika Sharma in the lead roles, while the supporting cast includes the likes of Yogi Babu, DD Dhivyadharshini, Bigg Boss fame Raiza Wilson, Samyuktha Shanmuganathan, and others.

The shooting of the film has been wrapped up and the post production works are happening in full swing. Laal Singh Chaddha is scheduled to hit the screens on August 11 and it will have a pan Indian release in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. The film is directed by Advait Chandan of Secret Superstar fame and features Kareena Kapoor Khan as the female lead. Naga Chaitanya will be playing an important role in the movie. Laal Singh Chaddha is the official Hindi remake of the classic Hollywood film, Forrest Gump, and the fans are eagerly looking forward to witnessing the film in the theatres.

Sardar features Karthi in dual roles - one as a police officer and the other as an ageing convict. The film is directed by PS Mithran of Irumbu Thirai and Hero fame and features Rajisha Vijayan and Raashi Khanna as the female lead. Produced by S Lakshman Kumar under the banner of Prince Pictures on a grand scale, the film has music composed by GV Prakash Kumar who is in great form in the recent past. Lailaa will be making her acting comeback with this one and it is going to be exciting to witness the much loved actress back in action.

Chunky Pandey plays the key antagonist in this action drama that is expected to showcase Karthi in a completely different dimension.

Leading Tamil actor Sivakarthikeyan's Don directed by debutant Cibi Chakravarthy, which is set to open in theatres worldwide on May 13, will now be released in Tamil Nadu by actor-producer Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies. Jointly produced by Lyca Productions and Sivakarthikeyan Productions banners, the highly-anticipated youth entertainer is carrying tremendous buzz among fans as it is set amidst a college backdrop and has fans mighty excited since Sivakarthikeyan is returning to his forte of comedy once again. Red Giant Movies is on a roll of late after acquiring the TN theatrical rights for several high-profile ventures that include the upcoming 'Thalapathy' Vijay-starrer Beast releasing worldwide on April 13 and 'Ulaganayagan' Kamal Haasan's Vikram hitting screens on June 3, with Sivakarthikeyan's Don too now set to take a huge opening across a large number of screens in the state.

Don is currently one of the most awaited films of 2022 as the film is said to be high on fun, comedy and the right amount of drama to keep audiences hooked on to their seats and is expected to take a solid opening in theatres, especially after Sivakarthikeyan went on to deliver his first-ever 100 crore film with Doctor last year. Annaatthe is produced by Sun Pictures, a banner that has a strong foothold in the trade market, and when Sun Pictures collaborates with Red Giant Movies, one can be sure of the film's mammoth release. A formal announcement on the same is awaited. Before Annaatthe, Red Giant Movies will be involved with the distribution of Sundar C's Aranmanai 3 (starring Arya and Raashi Khanna), which is scheduled to hit the screens on October 14.

Talking about Annaatthe, the film is directed by Siva of Viswasam fame and has music composed by the National Award winning D Imman. The film has a striking casting equation that includes prominent names like Khushbu Sundar, Meena, Keerthy Suresh, Nayanthara, Prakash Raj, Jagapathi Babu, Soori, Sathish, Abhimanyu Singh, and others. Among the lot, Keerthy Suresh will be seen playing the role of Rajinikanth's younger sister and her character is said to play a significant role in the film's story.

Arya's Aranmanai 3 which was censored with a U/A certificate recently, is now all set for a grand theatrical release. Earlier today (September 15), the makers officially announced the release plans of Aranmanai 3 and it has made the fans look forward to the project. Aranmanai 3 will hit the screens on October 14, marking the festive occasion of Aayudha Pooja. The additional exciting update is that the worldwide theatrical distribution rights of the film have been acquired by Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies. The presence of Red Giant Movies will indeed give the film a major boost, in terms of the project's release scale.

Interestingly, Arya's other film, Enemy (starring Vishal) is also scheduled to release on the same day and that makes two releases on the same day for Arya. Aranmanai 3, which has music composed by C Sathya, is believed to attract family audiences in large numbers. The film will feature Raashi Khanna as the female lead, while the supporting cast includes several prominent names including the likes of Andrea Jeremiah, late Padmashri Dr. Vivekh, Yogi Babu, Manobala, Sakshi Agarwal, Vela Ramamoorthy, Madhusudhan Rao, Vincent Ashokan, Vichu Viswanath, baby Ovi Bhandarkar, and others.
