'Thalapathy' Vijay celebrated his 49th birthday on Thursday, June 22, and the Tamil superstar made sure his ardent fans didn't miss out on the occasion and revelry. Releasing the Leo first look poster at the stroke of midnight, the actor also released the first single from the upcoming film, 'Naa Ready', with the double treat receiving a thunderous response from all quarters. With fans still in celebration mode everywhere, actress Pooja Hegde, who co-starred with Vijay in Beast (2022), joined in on the partying on Friday and released a never-before-seen video from the sets of the film where they both along with co-star Sathish Krishnan and a couple of children are seen grooving to the 'Butta Bomma' song in Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo (2020). 

In the unseen video posted by Pooja Hegde on Instagram, we see Vijay and the actress performing the iconic step she and Telugu superstar Allu Arjun carried out on the big screen in Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. The song went on to become a chart-topping hit across India and spawned a number of dance cover versions, with international artistes as well showing their love with their own performances on social media. "Just this little gem on my phone from the sets of Beast ❤️Since it was @actorvijay Thalapathy’s bday yesterday 🎂 🤗 #buttabomma #behindthescenes (sic)," Pooja wrote in her wishes to the Tamil superstar on her Instagram caption.

Both Vijay and Pooja are currently the most sought-after names in South India and are attached to high-profile projects that are in various stages of development. At present, Pooja is still a part of Mahesh Babu's Guntur Karam in Telugu despite reports doing the rounds that she has opted out of the project, with an official word now awaited from the team. She will also be seen alongside Shahid Kapoor in Hindi in a film to be directed by Malayalam filmmaker Rosshan Andrrews. Vijay, on the other hand, is shooting for his Leo under Lokesh Kanagaraj's direction featuring music by Anirudh Ravichander, with the film's star cast also featuring Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun, Gautham Menon, Mysskin, Priya Anand, among others, and is scheduled to release worldwide on October 19. After completing Leo, Vijay will join hands with blockbuster director Venkat Prabhu for the first time for the tentatively titled Thalapathy 68, which is announced for a 2024 theatrical release. Being produced by AGS Entertainment, the film will feature music by Yuvan Shankar Raja and is the second time he has boared a Vijay-starrer after Pudhiya Geethai (2003). 

Pooja Hegde announced that the next single from the movie Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is releasing tomorrow and shared a sneak peek of it on her official Twitter account. The song titled Billi Billi has received an overwhelming response with its glimpse on social media. Sung by Sukhbir, the peppy Hindi song features Salman Khan and Pooja Hegde showcasing their energetic Bhangra moves on the dance floor. Billi Billi has been written by Kumaar with additional lyrics by Vicky Sandhu, who has also composed the song. In the teaser, Salman Khan can be seen dressed in a black suit and shades with an untied bowtie hanging around his neck, while Pooja Hegde is seen wearing a red blouse and palazzos. With the release of this exciting new song, fans are eagerly looking forward to Salman and Pooja's stunning chemistry and killer dance moves.

Prior to this, the film's team had released Naiyo Lagda, a romantic song that has captured the hearts of fans with the sweet chemistry between Salman Khan and Pooja Hegde. The song's composer is Himesh Reshammiya, who has written many successful tracks for Salman Khan in the past, including Teri Meri, the title song for Tere Naam, and Tu Hi Tu Har Jagah. 

Farhad Samji is currently directing Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, the official Hindi remake of the 2014 Tamil film Veeram, which starred Ajith Kumar and Tamannaah. The star-studded cast of the movie includes Venkatesh Daggubati, Jagapathi Babu, Bhumika Chawla, Vijender Singh, Abhimanyu Singh, Raghav Juyal, Siddharth Nigam, Jassie Gill, Shehnaaz Gill, Palak Tiwari, and Vinali Bhatnagar. The film is slated to release on April 22, coinciding with the Eid festival. Fans are eagerly anticipating the release of this much-awaited movie, which promises to be a visual treat with a stellar cast and an engaging storyline. 

Leading South Indian actress Pooja Hegde is said to have opted out of being a part of Telugu superstar Pawan Kalyan's next big film titled Bhavadeeyudu Bhagat Singh. According to reports in Telugu media, the Beast actress, who has been rumored to be starring as the female lead in the grand venture, has reportedly "dropped out" as it has been postponed and is unavoidably creating scheduling conflicts as she cannot plan her dates. As of now, there has been no official word on who will replace Pooja Hegde in Pawan Kalyan's Bhavadeeyudu Bhagat Singh and the actress too has not yet addressed the talk about her leaving the project. 

Bhavadeeyudu Bhagat Singh will be directed by Harish Shankar. S and will mark the filmmaker's second collaboration with Pawan Kalyan after their 2012 blockbuster Gabbar Singh. Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar's blockbuster production banner Mythri Movie Makers had announced the upcoming film last September and dropped a first look poster featuring Pawan Kalyan on a motorcycle amidst the background of India Gate in New Delhi. Bhavadeeyudu Bhagat Singh has several big names in its technical team featuring the likes of music director Devi Sri Prasad, followed by cinematographer Ayananka Bose, art director Anand Sai, editor Chota K. Prasad, and the stunt choreographer duo Ram-Laxman. 

As for Pooja Hegde, she will be seen next in the highly-anticipated Bollywood biggie, Cirkus alongside Ranveer Singh and Jacqueline Fernandez under Rohit Shetty's direction and is based on William Shakespeare's Comedy of Errors,. The star actress, who has garnered a massive fan following in South India and is a national sensation, is currently filming her next big film titled Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali opposite Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, and is set to share screen space with Mahesh Babu for his upcoming venture to be directed by Ala Vaikunthapuramuloo fame Trivikram Srinivas.

'Thalapathy' Vijay's Beast will be opening in theatres on April 13 and fans are currently busy booking their tickets in advance bookings. A Nelson Dilipkumar directorial, production giant Sun Pictures is leaving no stone unturned in bringing the film out in theatres, with the team releasing new promos to raise the interest and curiosity among fans. Vijay will be sharing screen space with youth sensation Pooja Hegde, who incidentally is making a comeback to Tamil cinema after nearly a decade when she debuted in Jiiva's Mugamoodi directed by acclaimed filmmaker Mysskin. With promotions for Beast currently underway, Pooja took part in an AMA session on Twitter on Monday ahead of the film's release. 

Addressing a fan's query, Pooja revealed that her character's name in Beast is Preethi. The actress, who already is a huge name in Telugu cinema and Bollywood, became a nationwide sensation after playing the female lead in Allu Arjun's 2020 box office blockbuster Ala Vaikuntapuramlo. Pooja's return to Tamil cinema in Beast received a warm welcome and a short glimpse of her dance with Vijay in the 'Arabic Kuthu' song has fetched huge feedback, with fans looking forward to witnessing her impress alongside the superstar.

'Thalapathy' Vijay's Beast is set for a grand opening in theatres worldwide on April 13 and tickets have been selling like hot cakes in the advance bookings so far. Directed by Kolamaavu Kokila and Doctor fame Nelson Dilipkumar under the Sun Pictures banner and featuring music by Anirudh Ravichander, the upcoming mass action thriller is coming out as a pan-Indian release in Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi under the title Raw, with the Telugu version being released by blockbuster producer Dil Raju's Sri Venkateswara Creations. With less than a week for Beast's release, Nelson along with the film's female lead Pooja Hegde sat down for an interview on Saturday with Dil Raju, who incidentally is producing Vijay's next, the tentatively titled Thalapathy 66. During the promotions, Nelson and Pooja went on to speak in detail about Beast, while also revealing that there are two different versions of the 'Arabic Kuthu' song in the film. 

Producer Dil Raju said, "Arabic Kuthu is already a sensational song with nearly 275 million views." Pooja then goes on to inform saying, "And, this is for a lyric video." Dil Raju further states, "Kids are already dancing to the dance movement shown in the song." He then asks Nelson about the discussion behind composing 'Arabic Kuthu', with the filmmaker stating, "I requested Anirudh to give me a hit song, which should be appealing to the people of all states and should not be limited to Tamil Nadu. So, we were planning to keep it in gibberish and the lyrics in the song are not actually Arabic. We were confident about the song since we enjoyed it during the composition. Vijay sir and Pooja along with everyone in the team liked it during the first listen. I didn't explain much about the situation and asked him for a hit song, which has to be bigger than Anirudh's previous songs and he gave me."

Speaking about the visuals of 'Arabic Kuthu', Pooja stated, "In Beast, the song will have different visuals. Later, they will release a different visualization. So, what you see in theatres, it will be only for the screening in the theatres." Nelson further explained saying, "There's one-minute extra content that we have for another version of the song. In theatres, the song's visuals will be different compared to the video song that will be released later once the film is out."

The wait is over - 'Thalapathy' Vijay's Beast trailer has finally arrived and is a blast from start to end. The upcoming mass action entertainer has been directed by Nelson Dilipkumar under the Sun Pictures banner and the prestigious banner has gone full out in delivering the goods. The first visuals show the mammoth treat that awaits everyone in theatres when the film arrives on the big screen on April 13. With long trailers now being the new norm for Tamil films, Sun Pictures has once again hit it out of the park with the Beast trailer, which is a one-man show with Vijay leading the way. 

The Beast trailer starts off Selvaraghavan, who gets a call about a shopping mall on the East Coast Road in Chennai getting hijacked. He is called in as a negotiator of the Emergency Operation and goes on to inform about the positives despite the situation being quite dire and negative, and tells everyone that a spy among them, Veeraraghavan (Vijay), ended up being present in the shopping mall accidentally. The rest of the Beast trailer includes high-octane action moments, including dogfight sequences featuring Vijay maneuvering a military jet that will no doubt serve to be a massive highlight when the film arrives in theatres later this month. 

The Beast trailer is explosive all the way and no doubt sets the wheels in motion for the film coming out in less than two weeks. The film is being raved for its technical brilliance, along with Pooja Hegde's impressive performance as Prerana. Radhe Shyam which has been made on a massive budget of over 300 crores, has opened big at the box office. The film has entered the 100 crore club in style in just two days of its run. Yes! From its first two days of run (March 11 - March 12), Radhe Shyam has collected a mammoth amount of Rs. 119 Crores from its worldwide theatrical run.

The wait ends - the first single from 'Thalapathy' Vijay's Beast titled 'Arabic Kuthu' has been released on Monday as a Valentine's Day special. Touted to be a high-octane mass action entertainer, the upcoming film directed by Nelson Dilipkumar has Vijay paired with youth sensation Pooja Hegde, who is playing the female lead, and features music by 'Rockstar' Anirudh Ravichander. 'Arabic Kuthu' has been highly-anticipated since the announcement of its release was revealed last week in a special Beast promo that featured Nelson, Anirudh, and the song's lyricist actor-producer Sivakarthikeyan. The expectations for the song have been massive as social media has been flooded with excitement, with fans also decoding the meaning behind the verses, "Halamathi Habibo" which was teased in the promo earlier. 

Sung by Anirudh himself along with Jonita Gandhi, the 'Arabic Kuthu' song is a blast from start to end and leaves our foot tapping, and is sure to be a celebration track for fans when Beast arrives in theatres this April.
