Paagal is an upcoming Telugu romantic drama that features the young and promising Vishwak Sen in the lead role. The film features Nivetha Pethuraj as the female lead, while the star cast also includes the likes of Simran Choudhary, Megha Lekha, Rahul Ramakrishna, Murali Sharma, Mahesh Achanta, Indraja Shankar, and others. The film is scheduled to release in theatres across the globe on August 14, ahead of the Independence Day weekend. The film will release in theatres that are open in the country. Ahead of the release, the makers have now released the official trailer of the film which looks quite promising and interestingly packed.

From what we see, it looks like Paagal will be a fun-filled romantic entertainer that will cater to the youth audience. Vishwak Sen plays a Casanova who flirts and proposes to women that he finds attractive and he doesn't take it seriously. However, he falls in love with Nivetha Pethuraj and wants to involve in a serious relationship with her. Nivetha is hesitant to accept his love. Can a playboy be serious in a true romantic relationship? Well, it looks like Paagal is all about that. The trailer is packed with moments that are enjoyable, having a fun vibe to it.

Vishwak Sen is charming and vibrant on-screen and his pairing with Nivetha Pethuraj looks fresh. Chinmayi has dubbed for Nivetha Pethuraj in the film. The trailer has opened to fairly positive reception from the fans and has made them look forward to the movie. Produced by Bekkem Venu Gopal under the banner of Lucky Media in association with Dil Raju's Sri Venkateswara Creations, the film has music composed by Radhan of Arjun Reddy fame. Paagal is directed by Naressh Kuppili and has cinematography by S Manikandan.

As reported earlier, Nivetha Pethuraj recently activated her Twitter profile after a long gap. She had deactivated her Twitter profile a couple of years back to avoid hatred. Now she is back with a new profile. Like all other film stars, even Nivetha is affected by a lot of fake accounts. Some of the fake accounts are even popular than her official account since she is new to Twitter and doesn’t have a verification yet. She is trying her luck to remove all the parody accounts and, in the meantime, she has released a video to officially confirm her Twitter handle so that people don’t follow the fake accounts anymore.

Working on getting verifying this handle soon. Thanks ðŸ˜Š” On the work front, Nivetha Pethuraj is awaiting the release of her next Telugu film, RED (remake of Arun Vijay’s Thadam), starring Ram Pothineni in the lead role. She will also be playing the female lead in Sai Dharam Tej’s next film, directed by Deva Katta of Prasthanam fame. In Kollywood, Nivetha Pethuraj is awaiting the releases of her two films - Party and Jagajaala Killadi.

Actor turned director Prabhu Deva has come a long way in his glorious career, but will for the first time be appearing on the big screen as a police officer in the upcoming Tamil film, Pon Manickavel. Written and directed by A. C. Mugil Chellappan, the action thriller will see Prabhu Deva romancing actress Nivetha Pethuraj with the film's supporting cast including names like Suresh Chandra Menon, the Late J. Mahendran among others under Hitesh Jhabak and Nemichand Jhabak's Jhabak Movies banner with music by hit composer D. Imman. 

With an action-packed teaser released last year for the film, the makers have now released the long-awaited Pon Manickavel trailer. Initially, when the teaser, songs and the promotional stills dropped last year, there was quite a lot of chatter among fans of Prabhu Deva, who were excited at the prospect of witnessing the ace dancer in an out-and-out action role as a cop.

With the trailer now out, we can expect there will be considerable enthusiasm for the film when it arrives in theatres on _______. Pon Manickavel has cinematography by K. G. Venkatesh while editing has been done by T. Shivanandeeswaran followed by stunts by the Anbariv duo and lyrics penned by Karky.

Brochevarevarura, the Telugu black comedy film got the attention of everyone as soon as the cast of the film was revealed. The movie had an attractive cast that that has two gorgeous ladies in the name of Nivetha Pethuraj and Nivetha Pethuraj. Brochevarevarura also features Sree Vishnu, Satyadev Kancharana in the lead roles while Priyadarshi Pullikonda, Rahul Ramakrishna play supporting roles. Brochevarevarura is written and directed by Vivek Athreya and produced by Vijay Kumar Manyam under the banner of Manyam Productions. The music for the film is composed by Vivek Sagar.

Actress Nivetha Pethuraj has become quite popular across Tamil Nadu after the “Adiyae Azhagae” song from the her debut film, Oru Naal Koothu, released in 2016 and has since gone on to be a heartthrob among fans. With her name currently attached to several projects, the star has now been announced to be part of Telugu superstar Allu Arjun’s upcoming next film, tentatively titled AA 19. It must be noted she already has quite a following in the Telugu-speaking states after starring in films like Mental Madhilo and the recently-released, Chitralahari.

A Trivikram Srinivas directorial, Nivetha Pethuraj has begun filming her portions in Hyderabad opposite Allu Arjun in AA 19, which has had a tremendous talk among fans ever since the project was first announced a while back. Actress Pooja Hegde too is part of the film being produced jointly by Haarika & Hassine Creations and Geetha Arts banners. Acclaimed Bollywood actress Tabu and up-and-coming actor Sushanth are included in the supporting cast with music by S. Thaman and cinematography by PS Vinod.

An actress who has gone on to capture the hearts of youngsters, Nivetha Pethuraj has so far been in four Tamil films namely Oru Naal Koothu, Podhuvaga En Manasu Thangam, Tik Tik Tik where she played the role of an astronaut and Thimiru Pudichavan, in which she was seen as a cop.

Nivetha Pethuraj is also awaiting the release of director Venkat Prabhu’s multi-starrer comedy heist film, Party, Vishnu Vishal’s rural comedy, Jagajala Killadi, Prabhu Deva’s action thriller, Pon Manickavel, and three more Telugu ventures.

With Nivetha announced to be playing one of the female leads in ‘Makkal Selvan’ Vijay Sethupathi’s next film under Vijay Chandar’s direction, there have been reports stating the actress had received an audition call to star in reputed Hollywood production house, Marvel Studios’ upcoming venture(s).

It was being stated Nivetha Pethuraj was in talks with the leading Hollywood studio known for making blockbuster comicbook superhero films such as Black Panther, Thor trilogy, the recent Captain Marvel and the biggest of them all, Avengers: Endgame, coming out in theatres next month.

That said, Nivetha Pethuraj during a telephonic conversation with Galatta has denied all the reports floating around as baseless rumors as she is currently concentrating on her upcoming projects in Tamil and Telugu.

Prabhudeva is a busy man these days with as many as four Tamil films and a Hindi project lined up for the year ahead.

The year started for the actor turned director with the laugh riot, Gulaebaghavali, which went on to perform well at the box office.

He followed it up with Karthik Subbaraj’s horror thriller, Mercury, in which he delivered a stunning performance.

Now, Prabhudeva will be seen as a cop for the first time under AC Mugil’s direction being produced by Nemichand Jhabak and Hitesh Jhabak’s Jabak Movies banner.

Composer D. Imman has landed yet another big project this year after the upcoming Ajith-Nayanthara starrer, Viswasam.

Furthermore, director turned actor Suresh Chandra Menon, who was seen earlier this year in Suriya’s Thaanaa Serndha Koottam, will be seen in an important role too.

Over the past few days, few pictures have been doing the rounds across certain sections of the media and social networking forums stating the artiste was none other than actress Nivetha Pethuraj.

Having said that, it is not the case to be so as the person wearing a bikini in the said pictures is an up-and-coming artiste named Varshini Pakal.

Meanwhile, Nivetha Pethuraj, who swept hearts after her debut in Oru Naal Koothu, has now issued an official statement on the pictures that have been circulating online.

Her statement reads as follows: "For the past few days, some sections of the media were constantly using the images of some aspiring artiste and had been using my name, thus creating an impression that it was me who is seen in that picture. This was brought to my notice by many calls from well wishers and friends".

She further went on to state, "This deliberate attempt to malign my image has hurt me very badly. I am in touch with my legal team to handle this issue. Considering the huge respect I have for the media, I had been maintaining a dignified silence. But, it looks that there is no respite from this irresponsible act."

Nivetha concluded saying, "May I request them to verify and carry the news and images of the concerned artiste. After all, we are also human beings and we have a family too. We too live in a society which have bearings on our day to day life. I hope this will put things on a straight line. Any further repeated acts according to my legal counsel will invite legal proceedings".

On the professional front, Nivetha Pethuraj will next be seen in the highly anticipated Tik Tik Tik, India’s first space film, opposite Jayam Ravi on June 22.

She is also part of the multi-starrer action comedy, Party, directed by Venkat Prabhu.

Furthermore, she is at present working on Thimiru Pudichavan opposite Vijay Antony in which she will be seen playing a cop.

Then, there’s the comedy, Jagajala Killadi, opposite Vishnu Vishal under Ezhil’s direction.

Actor Vishnu Vishal had few days back tweeted that he was opting out of Gautham Menon’s production venture, Pon Ondru Kandein, owing to schedule conflicts.

He had also mentioned he would be kick-starting his film with director Ezhil, whom he had previously collaborated for the 2016 hit film, Velainu Vandhutta Vellaikaaran.

Now, Vishnu Vishal has made an important announcement on the status of the project saying the title of the film will be revealed on Pongal day.

The untitled film will feature Nivetha Pethuraj as the female lead along with D. Imman for the music under Dusshyanth’s Ehsan Productions banner.

Unless and until audience gets to see the movie in full in theaters, it is very tough and not advisable to come to a conclusion so early. Compared to Hollywood, Indian cinema as a whole has got so many unexplored genres and very few directors come out to experiment on such risky levels.

“I respect director Shakti Soundar Rajan a lot because he got the guts to actually attempt a space film in Tamil. Tik Tik Tik is experimental no doubts but when I entered the sets, it was like what we would see in a Christopher Nolan film. It’s easily the biggest movie in my career,” exclaims an excited Nivetha Pethuraj.

Fun Fact: It’s said that Nivetha bagged the role because she was professionally trained in martial arts and jujutsu that helps her do risky stunts in Tik Tik Tik with ease.
