Bigg Boss star Mugen Rao who made his acting debut in Tamil cinema with Velan is all geared up for his next. Mugen will be seen playing the lead role in the upcoming romantic drama, Madhil Mel Kaadhal, which is directed by Anjana Ali Khan of Veppam fame. Divya Bharathi, who delivered a striking debut in Tamil cinema with Bachelor plays the female lead in this one. The refreshing duo of Mugen and Divya Bharathi would be supported by an array of talented actors including the likes of Anu Haasan, Kasthuri, Nizhalgal Ravi, Subbu Panchu, Sakshi Agarwal, KPY Bala, Deeps, Pandiyarajan, and others.

Earlier today (April 8), the makers unveiled the official teaser of Madhil Mel Kaadhal which looks quite promising and interestingly done. The teaser introduces us to the lead character played by Mugen Rao and he seems to have done it quite convincingly with his charm. Divya Bharathi leaves a positive impression with her adorable presence and portrayal. From what we see in the teaser, it looks like Madhil Mel Kaadhal will be a breezy feel-good romantic drama mainly targetted towards the youth audience. With a promising set of actors leading from the front, let us hope that the film strikes a chord.

The teaser is also suggestive of a triangular love story angle and we will have to wait for the film's release to get a confirmation. Nivas K Prasanna's background score is one of the major highlights of the teaser of Madhil Mel Kaadhal. Produced by Shirdi Productions, the film has cinematography handled by Goutham George, while Anthony and Suresh Kallery have headed the editing and art direction departments respectively. The shooting of the film has been wrapped up and the makers are currently involved with the post production works which is happening in full swing. The trailer and songs are expected to release in the coming weeks.

After a highly impressive first season, the Tamil version of the popular TV reality show Bigg Boss, took a hit amongst the viewers in the second season. However, the third season of Bigg Boss Tamil, became a super hit with the viewers and the contestants also gained a lot of popularity. One of the most favourite contestants of the people was Mugen Rao, who eventually went on to become the season's title winner! Mugen, a singer, writer, performer and musician, is from Malaysia and is famous for a number of his songs which are very popular on Facebook! We now have an exciting update on his cinematic entry in Kollywood!

Our sources from within Kollywood reveal that Mugan Rao has been signed up for a new movie, to be produced by SN Rajarajan under his K Studios banner! This banner has been associated with a number of movies including Vijay Sethupathi's Sindhubaadh and the blockbuster hit Pyaar Prema Kaadhal. K Productions and SN Rajarajan have often been in the news for controversial reasons after their tussle with the Baahubali producers Arka Media Works, went viral. They have an ongoing legal issue and this comes to the limelight anytime a project associated with K Productions get close to release!

Last year, Rana Daggubati had put up a tweet stating that his movie 1945/Madai Thirandhu, which was produced by K Productions, was not complete yet as he was yet to receive payment from SN Rajarajan. However, the producer responded by stating that it is the director's call to decide if a movie had been completed or not. A project with GV Prakash and Varsha Bollamma was announced by K Productions but unfortunately, it got shelved after not taking off due to various reasons. The third season of one of the most entertaining reality shows on television ‘Bigg Boss’ commenced on June 23 with 17 contestants (15 first-day entrants and 3 wildcard entrants). ‘Ulaga Nayagan’ Kamal Haasan hosted the show for the third consecutive time which added to the popularity of the show.

Cheran, Fathima, Meera, Madhumitha, Abhirami, Kavin, Reshma, Tharshan, Saravanan, Mugen, Kasthuri, Losliya, Vanitha, Mohan, Shakshi, Sandy and Sherin were the 17 contestants who participated in the show. Many viewers felt this season was the best of the three as it had all the elements that were needed to entertain the audience. Sandy's funny moments, Mugen's singing performance, Sherin's humanity, relationships between Kavin-Losliya, Sherin-Tharshan and Mugen-Abhirami, shocking evictions of Saravanan and Madhumitha were some of the memorable moments of this season. 

After an eventful 104 days, the grand finale of the reality show Bigg Boss Tamil 3 happened on Sunday (October 6) and the stage was lit up with dance performances by evicted contestants. Kamal Haasan's daughter and one of the hottest names in the industry Shruti Haasan, Bigg Boss season 2 title winner Riythvika and popular musician Rajhesh Vaidhya also decorated the grand finale by their presence.

The grand finale had four strong contestants Sandy, Sherin, Mugen and Losliya as finalists. Bigg Boss season 2 winner Riythvika entered the house and revealed that Sherin had secured the fourth spot. The gorgeous Shruti Haasan was the second one to enter house to announce Losliya as the 2nd runner up of the season. 

The final two, Sandy and Mugen were brought out of the house towards the end of the show and Kamal Haasan raised Mugen's hand to announce him as the Bigg Boss Tamil Season 3 Title Winner. Sandy was announced as the runner up of this season. Mugen was handed the Bigg Boss trophy and also received prize money of Rs 50 Lakh from Kamal Haasan. 

Bigg Boss Tamil Season 3 has been a fun-filled emotional ride indeed and fans will definitely miss the show.

The Bigg Boss Tamil 3 show is in its seventh week now. During the end of last week, Resham was evicted from the reality show hosted by Kamal Haasan. Then all of a sudden Saravanan was sent out of the house for a comment that he made weeks back. The show keeps the fans entertained with its controversies, fights and ever-changing love equations between the contestants. In the latest promo Abhirami and Mugen are seen having an intimate conversation.

Mugen is seen flirting with Abhirami and in return Abhi surprises us by proposing him. It doesn’t look fake and from the look of things, Abhirami is surely in love with Mugen. Abhirami further told Mugen that she expressed her feelings and that’s about it and there is no compulsion to accept her request. Abhirami had earlier said that she never expected a male to be such a trustworthy and close friend with whom she is able to share all good and bad things freely.

Bigg Boss 1st promo for July 3 is out and today’s show Steller looks to be Abhirami Venkatachalam. Abi clarifies to her fellow contestants that she had Mugen Rao only good friends and there is nothing much to their relationship at the moment and if she fells in love, she will let everybody know. Abhirami requested her housemates to not interfere in her personal issues. It’s an interesting promo that creates a curiosity on what triggered Abhirami to shout. From the promo it is also evident that the housemates don’t seem to care what Abhi is blabbering.
