No introduction needed about Meera Mitun’s on-going controversy. The actress recently made some degrading statements against Thalapathy Vijay’s wife Sangeetha and also Suriya’s wife actress Jyotika on her official Twitter page. She didn’t stop there and kept making negative posts against Vijay and Suriya. She has triggered the fans of both these star actors who have been slamming the actress across all social platforms. There is no stopping the actress who keeps on making derogatory posts against actor Vijay and Suriya. Recently, Kaithi fame actor Dheena had made a post on Twitter saying - “I heard a bog is barking,” which looked like it was referring to Meera Mithun. The controversial Bigg Boss star in her reply, slammed Dheena, called him a dog, and dragged both Trisha and Vijay’s name in the issue - “Inform @trishtrashers. She is a @PetaIndia member so she can take care of those dogs or inform @actorvijay he can give solution in next audio launch.” Dheena has now replied saying Meera had replied to a fake account. He also claimed that he wouldn’t scold her so decently. Dheena also added that Meera Mitun is not worthy enough be talked about. Dheena’s tweet reads as follows - “This is not my tweet.. This is fake I'd really apologize to @meera_mitun Bcus nan Ivalo decent a solamatan.. And nengalum avalo worth ila..”

 Meera Mitun had also shared a scene from Vijay’s film Sivakasi and criticized the actor for not respecting women - “Respect shown by @actorvijay to female's and their dressing ! Oru vela Cola add nadichitu next he said water conservation in #kathi , Adhupola #singepenne soluvaro #bigileeyyyyy Reply to my tweets prove that woman empowerment by @actorvijay is fake.” Vijay accepted Mahesh Babu’s challenge and planted a few saplings in his house and shared a few photos, Meera Mitun didn’t spare even that - “We have seen #icebucketchallenge #swachhbharatchallenge and now #GreenIndiaChallage , @actorvijay A challenge means you need to nominate somebody else like @urstrulyMahesh. Jus posting pics is not enough. Hope you have friends in industry.” 

For the past few days, Meera Mitun has been posting controversial videos against Thalapathy Vijay, Suriya and their families and the videos did not go well with the majority, thereby creating an outrage on social media. The fans have been demanding an apology from Meera, but she made it clear that she wouldn’t apologize for her videos. Veteran director Bharathiraja condemned Meera Mitun for her behaviour of trying to attain publicity through negative talks. Later, Suriya addressed the issue and requested his fans to spend their quality time in useful and productive activities.

Following that, actor Vivekh made an important request to Meera Mitun, earlier this morning (August 12). He took to his Twitter page to post a tweet requesting Meera Mitun to apologize for her controversial posts against Vijay. He added that the fans were deeply hurt by her words. He tweeted, "@meera_mitun it seems wt u posted have hurt the feelings of million of Vijay fans.U may kindly ask for an open apology n get the love of both Vijay n Maheshbabu fans. And kindly don’t compare any two personalities.this is just a request.".

However, Meera Mitun revealed that she would not apologize to anyone. Meera replied to Vivekh's tweet by saying, "I think @Actor_Vivek, Every individual has the right to criticize what others do and in particular celebs are not immune from criticism, so why should I apologize for the same. Let's learn to take criticism in life.". One does not know how this issue is going to get unfolded in the next few days, but it looks like Meera Mitun is earning the wrath of the fans through her every single tweet.

Talking about Vivekh, he was last seen in Harish Kalyan’s Dharala Prabhu in which his performance as Dr Kannadasan received rave reviews. Vivekh will be seen playing an important role in director Shankar’s magnum opus, Indian 2, starring Kamal Haasan, Kajal Aggarwal, Siddharth, Priya Bhavanishankar, and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead roles. Vivekh is also a part of Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi’s musical romantic drama, Yaadhum Oorey Yaavarum Kelir, directed by debutant Venkata Krishna Roghanth. Though the entire nation is battling the COVID-19 Novel Corona Virus Pandemic and the dreadful way it has affected our everyday lives, there is a huge controversy raging in Kollywood. Bigg Boss fame Meera Mitun is well known for her caustic comments on social media and in recent times, she has been going relentlessly at a number of Kollywood celebrities, including Jyotika, Sangeetha Vijay, Thalapathy Vijay and Suriya! Recently, veteran director and actor Bharathiraja and Manobala had released statements expressing their displeasure at Meera Mitun disrespecting and giving out unwanted comments about Nadigar Sangam members. They had even called for all the Nadigar Sangam members to stand united and not let people talk irresponsibly against any of them!

Joe Michael has also been a target of Meera Mitun's numerous accusations and he had recently taken to Twitter to reveal some secrets from her past! He has been giving his own version of things with photo proof, on his social media handle. When Galatta got in touch with him regarding Meera Mitun's recent statement on Bharathiraja & Manobala's statements, he had quite a few opinions to offer. Joe Michael slammed Meera Mitun for disrespecting veterans like Bharathiraja and Manobala, not even respecting their age! He went on to state that Meera is not even a member of the Nadigar Sangam and she has no right to talk like that about anybody! Joe Michael also states that though Meera has made many accusations on him over the past year, he had remained silent as he was a nobody but is responding now as he doesn't want her accusations to hurt his reputation. Joe also states that he has already filed a Police complaint against Meera and that he is about to file another case now. He says that he is talking out now as he doesn't want Suriya and Vijay fans to blow up the issue and wants to put an end card to all this nonsense!

Joe Michael also asked that the media and people not respond to what Meera Mitun talks. He asked that it is the responsibility of the common folk and media to put a full-stop to the nonsense that she is talking. Joe went on to state that she has no proof for any of her accusations and she is just doing all this for cheap publicity. He demanded that she produce proof or evidence of atleast one accusation that she has made, so far! Joe Michael has asked all media to only telecast or publish her statements, only if she produces proof of anything that she talks about! Joe Michael branded Meera Mitun and the recently notorious Balaji Iyer (Kaul the King) as being from a gang of people who want to become popular with cheap publicity. He mentioned that while Meera is doing it in Chennai, Balaji is doing it in Mumbai. It is Balaji who has induced Meera to talk against top people like Vijay sir! He is somebody who talks stuff like "I have watched the Master trailer" or that "Boney Kapoor sir himself told me that the shooting for 2nd half of Valimai wouldn't happen!" Her accusations of me having gone to jail and that she has a photo of me standing in my underwear in jail, are all baseless and totally untrue! I came to Twitter to expose her lies and gather proof to file a case against her for defaming me! If she has to file a case againse me exposing her lies, she has to go to the Police. As long as people and the media encourage her, she will definitely go on talking nonsense like this, about many more stars.

As we all know, Meera Mitun’s controversial videos talking negatively about Thalapathy Vijay and Suriya and their families has not gone well with the majority. The video has earned the wrath of the fans who have demanded an apology from Meera Mitun. Quite a few people have also stated that Meera is doing this for publicity and nothing else. The issue has created a buzz on social media. Having said that, veteran director Bharathiraja has now issued an official statement condemning Meera Mitun’s behaviour. Bharathiraja sounded very angry about Meera’s path to attain fame.

Bharathiraja’s official statement read, “The incidents that have been happening in the last few days is shocking. This recent culture of defaming and talking negatively about someone's personal life in order to attain publicity is very dangerous and worrying. Our dear brothers Vijay and Suriya have come to this stage after a lot of struggle and hard work. Both of them are leading a dignified life and are in a respectable position in the society. A woman named Meera Mitun has crossed her limits with her bad behaviour. As a senior member of this industry, I am responsible to condemn this issue.

This little girl, who is trying to gain popularity, should stop talking negatively about people. Members from the film industry will not maintain silence if she does not stop with this. I strongly condemn what she spoke so far. Suriya is providing education to so many poor students out there. Vijay is also helping the needy on the grounds of humanity. What Meera Mitun talked about them and their families is definitely not acceptable.

Meera has a life to be lived. Let her try, work hard and get what she deserves. There are many ways to live our life, but this is not the way. It is shocking to see that no unions or associations have reacted to this issue. I request social media forums to regulate their rules and control abusive videos like these. I am also noticing the abusive language used by the fans of leading actors and it is very disheartening. An actor should at least issue a statement and control the use of foul language of the fans."

Model turned actress Meera Mitun has become a highly popular name across Tamil Nadu after participating in the recently-concluded third season of the hit Tamil reality TV show, Bigg Boss. One of the most controversial names to come out of the Bigg Boss house, Meera Mitun had a few days back announced on her Twitter page that she was ousted from the upcoming Tamil film, Agni Siragugal, and was replaced by Akshara Haasan. Being produced by T. Siva under the Amma Creations banner, Naveen has now responded to Meera Mitun’s allegations saying she was never committed to the project while adding that the actress had herself informed the press and media regarding her casting despite him choosing not make any big fuzz out of the situation.

When Meera then tried to confront Naveen and call him out, the acclaimed director tweeted out saying she should consult a doctor and concluded stating he will no longer respond to her accusations. Agni Siragugal stars Arun Vijay, Vijay Antony and Shalini Pandey in the lead roles and is progressing at a brisk pace with filming expected to wrap up soon with an announcement regarding its theatrical release expected to come out officially.

The third and final promo for tonight’s episode of Bigg Boss 3 is now out and shows former contestant, Meera Mitun, who has now re-entered as a guest on the show, practicing meditation while Sandy is shown observing her closely. We see Sandy making attempts to understand Meera in her meditative state, which eventually comes off as poking fun at her. Mugen too is seen joining in along with Sandy with the two then imitating Meera Mitun’s meditation actions, which eventually wakes her up and leaves her quite surprised at what they were doing. Meera is then seen unable to control her laughter while walking away from Sandy and Mugen. It is well-known that Meera is one of the most debated contestants to appear in Bigg Boss 3 and had been surrounded by several controversies while being part of the show. The Bigg Boss 3 finale is set to take place later this weekend with Sandy, Mugen, Losliya and Sherin set to battle it out to emerge as the winner.

Up-and-coming actress Shalu Shamu’s name hit headlines when she made a shocking revelation a while back regarding a casting couch experience saying a popular film director had called her to sleep with him for a role in Telugu superstar, Vijay Devarakonda’s film. Shalu Shamu has previously starred in films namely Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam, as Sri Divya's friend, in Tamizhuku En Ondrai Azhuthavum as Sathish's pair, in Amala Paul's Thiruttupayale 2 including a minor role in the Sivakarthikeyan and Nayanthara starrer, Mr. Local. That said, Shalu Shamu took part in an interview with Galatta in which she has revealed she’s signed up for two projects among which include Seema Raja director Ponram’s next film, which she hopes will prove to be a breakthrough for her from the usual staple roles he goes on to land. Furthermore, she goes on to talk about Bigg Boss 3 in which she was initially billed to be a participant and was eventually replaced by model turned actress Meera Mitun regarding whom she now states she had known for a period of three months.

Shalu Shamu states, “I came to learn quite a lot about Meera Mitun during a three-month period we spent time together apart from having known about for well over a year. I felt that in itself was a long period and after that there was no touch. I understood about her during that 3-month period and experienced quite a lot after which I put a dot to our association,”.

With the accusations against Meera Mitun gaining more steam, the Bigg Boss 3 star had in a press meet now addressed the long-standing controversy between her and Joe Michael where she stated, "I have to remind everyone here how this entire controversy started. It was me who had first filed a complaint against Joe Michael and, Ajith Ravi is the person behind all this commotion. They now claim a FIR has been filed on me just as they previously said that they filed other cases against me; all of which my lawyer has quashed,".

Meera Mitun then continued saying, "I came across Joe Michael’s statements he had made on various media platforms and I have been in extreme emotional pain since then. I want to ask whether or not this will lead to depression and what if I committed suicide? They can say anything they wish to about me, but they have been threatening my mother and brother as well. Goons have been coming to my house and threatening them. If you touch my family, they will soon get to know who I am. I have a special message to all those who speak negatively about me - achieve 10% of what I have done and then stand up to me and talk,".

Meera Mitun, who was evicted from the show a few days back, had come under scrutiny after she had raised allegations against director Cheran for inappropriately touching her during one of the tasks the housemates were all performing together. In the midst of this, there was a raging controversy outside the Bigg Boss house surrounding Meera Mitun and her prior actions that she had conned a few beauty pageant aspirants under the guise that she was producing the Miss South India show. That said, the present Miss South India producer Ajith Ravi has now issued an official statement on video saying Meera Mitun, who was crowned as Miss South India 2016, has been dethroned from the title.

Ajith Ravi stated the reason Meera Mitun has been stripped off from the title is because of various complaints he has received over the past one year, which includes lying about her age and marital status. However, the main reason they have decided to take away the Miss South India 2016 title from Meera Mitun is because of the police complaint raised against the Bigg Boss 3 star alleging she had cheated a designer by taking Rs. 50000/- for which they have received the receipt of the police complaint. He then concluded by saying the title has now been given to actress and supermodel, Sanam Shetty, who will be carrying it forward from this point on. Incidentally, Sanam Shetty is the girlfriend of another Bigg Boss 3 star, Tharshan Thiyagarajah, who is an actor hailing from Sri Lanka.
