Vidharth's next film to have THIS Mani Ratnam connection!
By Aninditha | Galatta | 03:34 PM
Actor Vidharth is known for his films like Mynah, Veeram, Kutrame Thandanai, Kurangu Bommai and Aal. He even recently appeared in Jyothika’s Kaatrin Mozhi, which was a remake of Vidya Balan’s Tumhari Sulu. The actor was last seen playing the lead in Chithiram Pesuthadi 2. Now, the latest that reports suggest is that Vidharth has signed a new movie which will see him as the lead alongside Udhaya. The most interesting part about this is that the film has been titled Agni Natachathiram!
For those who could not figure it out yet, the film’s title is the same as the 1988 Mani Ratnam directed classic film. The 1988 classic starred Karthik, Prabhu and Amala. It is also being said that producer Isari Ganesh helped the team get this title. This surely is a big deal as procurement of same title becomes difficult for newer people. The film is being directed by debutant Sharan! What is left to be seen is whether the film will have any similarities with the classic one or not.
For those who do not know, Udhaya is the brother of director AL Vijay and he was last seen in Utharavu Maharaja. This sure will be an interesting to look forward to as Vidharth and Udhaya are joining hands for the first time!
