Bigg Boss Tamil season 5 is turning out to be yet another big edition for Vijay TV and streaming partner DisneyPlus Hotstar as the hit reality TV show has been receiving an astounding feedback from fans. 'Ulaganayagan' Kamal Haasan is hosting the ongoing edition, which is now in its second month, with three contestants being evicted among whom include Nadia Chang, Abishek Raaja and Chinnaponnu, while Namitha Marimuthu walked out after the show's first week. Vijay TV has been releasing new promos everyday and the latest Bigg Boss 5 promo is an intense one showing a massive confrontation between Thamarai Selvi and Madhumitha. 

The new Bigg Boss Tamil season 5 promo has the participants dressed as famous Tamil film characters and portraying roles in accordance to the costumes they're wearing when a discussion between Thamarai and Madhumitha unexpectedly becomes an argument. In this Bigg Boss Tamil 5 promo, the discussion of the two takes a heated turn after Madhumitha questions Thamarai about the manner she is talking to which the latter stands upfront and states that she will continue to speak as she wishes. Next, Thamarai raises her voice and says that she will continue to shout to which Madhumitha retorts back in the same manner before she is escorted outside by the other Bigg Boss 5 housemates.

A popular name among Tamil cinema fans for nearly a decade, Jangiri Madhumitha has carved a niche for herself as one of the few female comedians, while also landing notable roles in films like Oru Kal Oru Kannadi, Raja Rani, Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara, Jilla, Kaaki Sattai, Kanchana 2, Demonte Colony, Puli, Kaashmora, Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuththu and Viswasam to name a select few. Madhumtiha became a household name across Tamil Nadu after her appearance on Bigg Boss Tamil season 3 last year and was one of the most debated contestants among fans. However, news has now come out that Madhumitha had fainted recently at the shooting spot of her upcoming film, Annabelle Subramaniam, which has 'Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi and Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu in the lead roles. 

Being directed by reputed Tamil film director R. Sundarrajan's son Deepak Sundarrajan, Annabelle Subramaniam also starring Raadhika Sarathkumar and Yogi Babu in pivotal roles was shot at Jodhpur in Rajasthan last month. News has now come that during the shoot, Madhumitha, who was part of a hectic cooking sequence in a kitchen, had succumbed to burns on her waist after oil had spilled unexpectedly. The Bigg Boss 3 star, however, without informing the incident to anyone at the shooting spot, continued to film her portions while bearing the pain as the sequence was an important one and a lot had been invested already for the scene’s production. Madhumitha had informed the Annabelle Subramaniam crew only after finishing her portions in the sequence that day after which it was found that she had suffered swelling as a result and was subsequently given appropriate treatment. 

Likewise, Madhumitha, during the Annabelle Subramaniam shoot, fasted for an entire day without eating any food, with the production continuing to carry into the late evening and night hours. As a result, the Bigg Boss Tamil 3 star had fainted at the shooting spot, with the film's crew reviving her by providing her first aid. Upon being revived Madhumitha resumed filming her portions in Annabelle Subramaniam and had broken her fast after completing her shoot. The film's unit was left astounded at Madhumitha's steadfast dedication to wrap up her portions in the film despite her affliction then at the shooting spot. 

Actress Madhumitha who rose to fame with her role as ‘Jangiri’ in Oru Kal Oru Kannadi, became a very popular name among the households with her stint in the third season of Bigg Boss. Madhumitha was indeed a controversial contestant inside the house who quit the show midway after hurting herself with a knife. Following the exit of Bigg Boss, Madhumitha is yet to have a release, but has already been signed in notable biggies like Santhanam’s Dikkiloona, G.V.Prakash Kumar’s Aayiram Jenmangal, etc.

She has now signed a new film which is to be produced by Ravindar Chandrasekaran of Libra Productions. For the uninformed, Ravindar has produced films like Nalanum Nandhiniyum and Kavin starrer Natpunna Ennanu Theriumma. He has also distributed films like Yogi Babu’s Gurkha and Vijay Sethupathi’s Sangathamizhan.

Ravindar became a known figure on social media after his interviews during the Bigg Boss time. Both, ‘Jangiri’ Madhumitha and Ravindar sounded very positive about the association. The third season of one the biggest television reality shows Bigg Boss has crossed the halfway mark and the show just kicked up a notch this past week. Last week of Bigg Boss started off with a huge surprise as the popular actress Kasturi entered the house as the 17th contestant via wild card. But things got more interesting when Vanitha Vijaykumar who was evicted in the third week entered the Bigg Boss house again. Vanitha's re-entry flipped the Bigg Boss house upside down as she triggered everyone in the name of advice. Notably, one of the biggest arguments broke out between Abhirami and Mugen after Vanitha's entry.

As everyone thought there is nothing much to happen, Kamal Haasan on Saturday began the show with the shocking elimination of Madhumitha saying that she broke one the important rules of the Bigg Boss house. Reports circulate that Madhumitha attempted suicide to make a point after a heated argument with the housemates inside the house which was undisclosed by the channel.

With so much going on inside the house, the weekly eviction procedures were also made on Sunday. Losliya, Abhirami, Kavin and Mugen were the four contestants in the danger zone for eviction. Kavin and Losliya were announced to be safe from eviction which had Abhirami and Mugen who had some heated arguments in the past week in the danger zone.

As the show came close to an end, Kamal Haasan revealed that Abhirami was the one to be evicted from the Bigg Boss house this week. Sherin and Losliya were the most affected as they had a hard time saying goodbye to Abhirami. On the other hand, Abhirami looked relieved indeed as she said on the stage while talking to Kamal Haasan. The eviction might be a blessing for Abhirami as she can witness and cherish the love for her recently released film Nerkonda Paarvai.

As Abhirami and Madhumitha join the list with Fathima Babu, Mohan Vaidhya, Meera Mithun, Reshma Pasupuletti, Saravanan and Shakshi as the evicted contestants the count of the housemates has come down to a single digit for the first time this season. As we enter the second half of the season more exciting things are expected to happen in the coming days.

The third season of Bigg Boss is currently underway for over two months now with the show receiving huge TRP ratings since it began airing. With Fathima Babu, Mohan Vaidya, Meera Mitun, Reshma Pasupuleti and Sakshi Agarwal evicted followed by Saravanan getting eliminated and Vanitha Vijayakumar making her re-entry, Bigg Boss 3 has seen massive drama already. A major highlight on the show is each of the contestants are given tasks they are required to perform, which will eventually lead to them getting awarded with higher points. Similarly, yesterday’s (August 16) episode saw Sherin, Tharshan and Madhumitha competing for the Captaincy role in Bigg Boss for next week. Their task was to fix colored alphabet letters (different colors assigned to each contestant) on a board, which would eventually form the word ‘CAPTAIN’.

Tharshan was assigned with green-colored alphabets while Sherin was given red-colored alphabets and Madhumitha with blue alphabets with the challenge centered around the contestants lodging it on the board blindfolded with their fellow housemates assisting them with their voice. In the task, we can see Tharshan and Sherin going through plenty of obstacles in placing their colored alphabet blocks on the board with the exception of Madhumitha, who surprisingly was able to place all the letters without any big difficulty. As a result, many fans are now stating that the blindfold on Madhumitha was not tied properly. The clips have gone viral across social networking forums with fans getting mighty suspicious and many alleging that Madhumitha could have possibly cheated in her task.

We are into the 55th day of Bigg Boss show season 3 Tamil, it has been a roller coaster ride for the audiences who like such reality shows. There is something fun happening every day inside the house to keep the audience hooked to the show. The first promo for Bigg Boss will generally be aired around 9AM in the morning but there was a delay today. Vanitha’s re-entry has been a treat to all Bigg Boss fans. It’s been only fighting and confusion between the housemates' post Vanitha’s re-entry. As informed by earlier today, Sakshi Agarwal seems to have ended her journey in Bigg Boss Tamil 3, but there is a belief among fans that she might be sent to the secret room. In yesterday’s (July 28) show, Meera Mithun was evicted from the show, it wasn’t a surprising announcement as most of us saw it coming. She was indeed the trouble maker inside the house. Nobody in the house liked her and she also did not have any support from the audience as well. Meera has made a lot of haters for herself after accusing Cheran for inappropriate behavior.
