Former Indian cricketing legend, Harbhajan Singh will be making his debut as a lead actor with the upcoming Tamil film, Friendship which is scheduled to release in theatres on September 17. The film features Bigg Boss sensation Losliya as the female lead, marking her debut in Tamil cinema. Action King Arjun will be seen playing a crucial role, alongside Sathish, Subha Venkat, JSK Satish Kumar, Cook with Comali fame Bala, and others. Ahead of the release, the makers have now released a new sneak peek - the first 7 minutes of the movie and it looks quite promising. The film starts off with a bunch of spoilt college students abducting a girl on a rainy night. The next scene shifts to Action King Arjun who kills the students - those who were behind the abduction incident.

Later, we see a politician who addresses the media, explaining how the current generation of college students do not have a social responsibility. In intercuts, we see the film's lead, Harbhajan Singh and his friends coming out of a Police van. The sneak peek ends there, making the audience curious to see what happens next. This sneak peek of Friendship has opened to fairly positive reception from the audience. Harbhajan Singh, in one of his earlier interviews, had mentioned that Friendship will be a quality entertainer that will carry an important message to society.

Produced by JPR and Stalin under the banner of Sentoa Studios, in association with Cinemaass, the film has music composed by DM Udhaya Kumar. Santha Kumar has handled the cinematography, while the editing is taken care of by Deepak S Dwaraknath. PS Raj has penned the dialogues. Friendship is directed by John Paul Raj and Sham Surya. Losliya became a well known personality among the Tamil people after her participation in the third season of Bigg Boss Tamil TV show. Bigg Boss 3 gave Losliya a massive breakthrough and she earned a huge fan base through the show. Losliya was one of the finalists of the season. The budding actress is quite active on social media and she regularly posts pictures from her photoshoots on Instagram. Having said that, Losliya posted a series of pictures on her Instagram page and the post received a comment from an user who felt that it was not right of Losliya to post pictures when the country is undergoing a tough phase due to Covid 19.

However, Losliya had an interesting reply to the follower and the reply has now gone viral among her fans. Losliya's reply read, "kindly, don't use Instagram. So that you won't be able to see any posts brother". Losliya will be making her debut as a lead heroine with the upcoming Tamil film, Friendship, which has former Indian cricketing legend Harbhajan Singh in the lead role. Directed by John Paul Raj and Sham Surya, the film also features Action King Arjun, Sathish, Cook with Comali fame Bala, MS Bhaskar in supporting roles. Produced by Seantoaa Films in association with Cinemass Studio, Friendship is currently in post production stages.

Losliya also plays the female lead in Google Kuttappan, the Tamil remake of Android Kunjappan 5.25 (Malayalam). Losliya will be paired opposite her Bigg Boss friend and actor Tharshan, while veteran director KS Ravikumar will be seen playing Tharshan's father in the film. Google Kuttappan is directed by newcomers Sabari and Saravanan, while the film's music is composed by Ghibran. Losliya will also be acting in an untitled film produced by Axess Film Factory, the makers of Maragadha Naanayam and Ratsasan. The teaser shows the mass avatar of Harbhajan Singh and it looks like he has performed several high octane action moves in the film.

Losliya and Sathish add more colour to the film with their presence. Losliya looks beautiful in the visuals and let us hope that this film brings out the performer inside her. Two stars from the third season of Bigg Boss Tamil - Tharshan and Losliya will be acting together for the first time in a new film that is titled Google Kuttappan. This film is the official remake of the critically acclaimed Malayalam film, Android Kunjappan 5.25. The film revolves around the relationship between an old man and a robot who takes care of him. The love - hate relationship between the old man and the robot is what the film is all about and it was interestingly made in Malayalam. Let us now see how the film is made in Tamil. Ace director KS Ravikumar will be acting as the old man, reprising Suraj Venjaramoodu’s character, while Tharshan will be seen as his son, reprising Soubin Shahir’s role.

Losliya would play the love interest of Tharshan, while Yogi Babu is roped in to play Saiju Kurup's character, as Tharshan's friend. The casting definitely looks quite fresh and interesting, on paper. Apart from acting, KS Ravikumar will also be producing this film under his home banner, RK Celluloids and notably, the film marks his return to production after a long gap of 21 years. Ravikumar’s last production venture was Thenali that starred Kamal Haasan, Jyotika, Jayaram in the lead roles.

Ravikumar's former associates Sabari and Saravanan would be making their directorial debut with Google Kuttappan. The film was officially launched this morning (January 28) with a special pooja in Chennai. The pictures from the pooja event are now doing rounds on social media and the fans are quite excited to see Tharshan and Losliya together after a long time. Both Tharshan and Losliya enjoyed a solid fanbase during Bigg Boss and let us hope that they strike good with Google Kuttappan. Interestingly, this film will mark Tharshan's first outing as a lead hero. As far as Losliya is concerned, she has already bagged quite a few interesting projects after Bigg Boss and Google Kuttappan is her latest addition.

The film will have music scored by Ghibran, while the cinematography and editing will be handled by Arvi and Praveen Antony respectively. Madhan Karky will write the lyrics for the songs. Losliya, who rose to fame and attained popularity after participating in the third season of Bigg Boss Tamil, lost her father last night (November 15). Losliya's father, Mariyanesan passed away last night due to a heart attack and he breathed his last in Canada. The news took everyone by deep shock and Losliya's fans are mourning his demise on social media. As per the current reports, Losliya and her family have currently initiated the process to bring back Mariyanesan to Sri Lanka from Canada. Due to the Covid-19 norms, the process is said to be quite delayed.

Vanitha Vijayakumar, who was one of the contestants of Bigg Boss 3, took to her Twitter page to share the current update regarding the issue. Vanitha also said that Losliya is completely heartbroken, adding that she is in uncontrollable tears. Vanitha tweeted, "To all #Losliya fans... I spoke to her she is devastated and crying..but she will be strong she's trying to fly to srilanka. arranging thru embassy @vijaytelevision team is with her. due to covid pandemic the body can't reach srilanka immediately. ive given her my love and blessings. Just spoke to @AbhiramiVenkat3 and few other housemates #BiggBossTamil3 house mates are all in touch with her.. we have offered our help and support to try and get this travel situation fixed.. hopefully something will happen... god be with her".

It is indeed heartening to know that Losliya's friends from Bigg Boss 3 have come together to help her during these testing times. We at Galatta Media hope she gains the strength to overcome this situation. More details are expected to be known in the next few hours.

Mariyanesan garnered huge attention among the Tamil people when he appeared in Bigg Boss 3 for the first time. Now Axess Film Factory, the production of superhit horror thriller Ratsasan has made a breaking announcement on their film. Yes, Losliya would be playing lead in a film directed by debutant Raja Saravanan. The film star Axess Film Factory’s Executive Producer Pooranesh in the lead the long with Losliya. Apart from this untitled film and Friendship, Losliya will also be seen in Production No. 2, from Chandraa Media Vision, under Albert Rajaa's direction. In this movie, she will be playing one of the lady leads alongside Aari Arujuna of Nedunchalai and Maya fame, with Srushti Dange being the other.

One of the most popular reality shows on TV - Bigg Boss has been a launchpad for many of its contestants to get a break into tinsel town or on the small screens. After a rousing Season 1 in Tamil, the Bigg Boss Tamil Season 2 faced a dip in viewership before the third season resurrected the show's standing among the audiences. Almost all the contestants of Bigg Boss Tamil Season 3 became very popular during and after the show and one of the most popular was Losliya, a Sri Lankan Tamil new presenter. She hit the headlines after her in-show romance with fellow contestant Kavin became a widely followed subject!

However, the romance seems to have ended in the show itself, as Kavin exited the show and the two have not been seen together at any public event and Kavin even stated in a media interaction that he's single. Ever since being on the show made Losliya famous, many of her fans have been eagerly waiting to see when the beauty would enter movies. After a lot of speculation, it came out that she is entering movies but details of the project were not revealed. However, we now have an update on Losliya's acting venture! Reports state that she is to be pairing up with actor Aari Arujuna of Nedunchalai fame.

One of Losliya's fan pages shared these pics and mentioned that this is one of the movies that she has signed up for. Comments on this post give rise to speculations that there is another big project that Losliya is a part of and that announcements regarding this would be coming out soon. Dimpled diva Srushti Dange is also a part of this project, which is the Production No. 2 from Chandraa Media Vision and is being directed by Albert Rajaa.

The reality show Bigg Boss is one of the most popular and widely followed shows on Indian television. The show has various regional versions and the Tamil version has been hosted by the one and only Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan in all three seasons of its existence. The show became very popular in its first season but lost quite a bit of standing among the viewers in its second. However, the recently concluded third season restored the show to its rightful place amongst the audiences and the contestants of this season had a big part in it! Two of the most popular contestants - Kavin and Losliya, had a romantic entanglement and this was avidly followed by the viewers!

However, before the end of the show, there seemed to be a falling out between the two and Kavin voluntarily took up Bigg Boss's offer of leaving the show with Rs. 5 Lakhs money and did not stay till the end. Losliya was one of the finalists alongside Sandy, Shirin and the eventual title winner Mugen Rao! Recently, a success party was held at a famous hotel in Chennai, for all the contestants of Season 3 of Bigg Boss and they all had a joyous reunion there! Some of the contestants - Cheran, Madhumitha, Saravanan and Meera Mithun, were conspicuous by their absence.

The contestants gathered at the success party included Losliya, Kavin, Mugen Rao, Tharshan, Reshma Pasupuleti, Sandy, Vanitha Vijayakumar, Abhirami, Sakshi Agarwal, Fatima Babu and Mohan Vaidhya. Some of these people even performed at the gathering and they all posed for snaps together. However, both Losliya and Kavin seemed to be very careful in ensuring that they did not pose together.
