Pavithra Lakshmi is currently busy acting in her debut Tamil film as a lead and she will be paired opposite Sathish in this film. Comedian Sathish will be making his foray as a lead protagonist in this new film which is directed by debutant Kishore Rajkumar. This Sathish - Pavithra Lakshmi starrer is produced by the renowned film production house, AGS Entertainment, and has music scored by Ajesh Ashok. The film was officially announced a few days before, and the shoot is happening at a rapid pace in Chennai. Meanwhile, details regarding Pavithra Lakshmi's next film are out and here is what you need to know.

According to the latest reliable reports, Pavithra Lakshmi will be romancing the young and talented Kathir (of Pariyerum Perumal fame) in her next film. Details regarding the film's director and producer are yet to be known. Popular PRO Nikil Murugan shared the news on his Twitter page and notably, he is also the manager of Pavithra Lakshmi. Having said that, the news looks to be authentic and credible. An official announcement on the project is expected to be made very soon. Pavithra's fans have already started to look forward to the film and it looks like an interesting project is on the cards.

Pavithra Lakshmi, who featured in various short films, music videos, took part in the recently concluded show, Cook with Comali 2 and she earned a huge fan base through the show. Pavithra got a good breakthrough from the show and she was one of the finalists, as well. Pavithras' pairing with Pugazh was one of the highlights of the show and it has a separate fan base. Pavithra is also awaiting the release of her debut film as lead, Ullasam, which is a Malayalam film, starring Shane Nigam in the lead role. Ullasam is directed by debutant Jeevan Jojo and has music scored by Shaan Rahman.

On the other hand, Kathir is currently shooting for his untitled next film with Kayal Anandhi and the film is directed by Zac Harris. This new film will be a realistic thriller and it has Kaithi fame actor Narain in a pivotal character. Kathir's last release was Sarbath, which had a direct television premiere on Colors Tamil channel recently. The shooting of Thalapathy Vijay's Bigil is happening at a rapid pace and the makers are working towards a Deepavali 2019 release. Directed by Atlee and produced by AGS Entertainment, this film has an ensemble star cast that includes Nayanthara, Kathir, Jackie Shroff, Vivekh, Yogi Babu, Daniel Balaji, Anandaraj, Indhuja, Reba Monica John, Varsha Bollamma, Devadarshini and others. The latest update is that actor Kathir has wrapped shooting for his portions in this Vijay starrer. The Pariyerum Perumal actor officially shared this update with his latest tweet, which was indeed emotional.

Through the tweet, Kathir revealed that he hugged Vijay on the last day of the shoot and thanked him for his unconditional love. He tweeted, "This photo speaks what my heart wants to speak!! Completed shooting for #BIGIL ! Ur hug gave me an emotional happiness n unconditional love @actorvijay na! Thank u & Love u so much for all the Best Moments. Kathir is touted to play Vijay's best friend in the film and we have to wait until the release to know about it. The film made it to the headlines last week for the release of the first single, called Singappenney, composed by A.R.Rahman. The song received a phenomenal response from the audience and fans, and this energetic motivational number is already a blockbuster.

Vijay plays a football coach in this film who trains the Tamil Nadu Women's Football team, headed by Indhuja as the captain. Stay tuned to this space for more updates.

Actor Kathir, who gave an impressive performance in last year's hit film, Pariyerum Perumal, and has the upcoming projects namely Jada and the biggie, Thalapathy 63, will next be seen in the action drama, Sathru.

In Sathru, Kathir will be seen as a tough cop, which has been directed by Navin Nanjundan with the action thriller also be featuring Srushti Dange, Laguparan, Suja Varunee, Neelima Isai, Ponvannan and Marimuthu in vital roles. The project bankrolled by RT Infinity Deal includes music by Amrish with the film's teaser released sometime back fetching a good response.

Kadhal Desam Kathir is back?

Director Kathir of Kadhal Desam fame, who has given some of the best love stories in Tamil, is all set to come back with a new project.�The new project will be made simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu. It is also said that the current Tollywood sensation Varun Sandesh of Happy Days fame will play the lead role in both languages.�Telugu producer M.
