He has also worked as music composer for hit films like Arima Nambi and Kanithan. The talented artist was conferred with Kalaimamani and Padma Shri and has also performed in many stage shows and concerts. He has now posted a photo from Mumbai that has gone viral on social media. 

The talented artist posted multiple photos with the star couple of the Tamil Cinema Industry, Surya and Jyothika. The set of pictures shared by Sivamani has become trending on Social Media The picture also features his wife Runaa Risvii Sivamani. Suriya and Jyothika can be seen glowing at the event and the musician has shared the pictures with the caption “Fun times and amazing moments at ascend International school BKS with Suriya Jyothika and Runaa Ruzvii Sivamani." There was speculation previously that the celebrity couple Suriya and Jyothika have shifted from Chennai to Mumbai for the education of their children Diya and Dev. Actor Suriya is currently working on an interesting project directed by Siruthai Siva and Produced by Studio Green. The periodic film Suriya 42 is said to be a milestone in his career mounted on a massive budget. It has huge expectations among fans, though just an announcement teaser has been launched by the makers by far. The previous film of the actor Soorarai Pottru won National Awards in many categories. Jyothika has now completed filming and the trailers of her comeback film in Hindi titled SRI with Rajkumar Rao as the lead. A Malayalam film of the actress has also been wrapped and is awaiting release.

The long wait for fans has come to an end - actress Jyothika has finally announced her debut on social media. One of the most popular heroines in South India, Jyothika dropped the massive announcement of her social media entry on Tuesday by informing fans that she has joined Instagram, while also sharing a few pictures from her expedition she had undertaken to Kashmir at the Himalayas on Independence Day. Sharing photos of herself with her band of brothers, including one where she is seen holding the Indian flag proudly, Jyothika wrote, "Hello everyone! On social media for the very first time! A lot of positivity to share from my lockdown diaries. At the Himalayas on Independence Day, The beautiful Kashmir Great Lakes , 70 km trek With the awesome team of Bikat adventures- Rahul ,Sachin, Raul and Ashwin , n the Kashmir team Mushtaq n Riyaz bhai. Shortly thereafter, Jyothika's husband and actor Suriya too expressed his joy to her entry on Instagram and wrote on his Instagram Story: "My Pondatti strongest!!! Thrilled to see you on Insta!" Jyothika's entry on Insta has taken social media by storm as many fans of the actress have begun following her verified account, which has garnered more than 1.3 million followers within one hour of her announcement. Her first post has generated a massive response as fans are extending their wishes to catch more updates from the actress in the future. On the work front, Jyothika, who was last seen in the legal drama film Ponmagal Vandhal last year, is awaiting the release of her upcoming Udanpirappe, which has her sharing screen space with Sasikumar and the duo are appearing as siblings under Kathukutty fame Era Saravanan's direction. Udanpirappe is scheduled for an OTT premiere on Amazon Prime Video in October 2021. 

One of the most heartwarming stories of recent times was the December 27, 2019, release - Sillu Karupatti! This romantic anthology film, directed by Halitha Shameem of Poovarasam Peepee fame, was bankrolled by Venkatesh Velineni under the Divine Productions banner. This movie was released by Suriya's 2D Entertainment banner and it became an instant hit amongst all sections of the audiences and is being hailed by everybody within the industry too! Accolades have been pouring in for the director as well as all the members of the Sillu Karupatti team. Now, the latest to felicitate them are Suriya & Jyothika!

A latest post by Halitha Shameem on her Facebook page reveals that Suriya & Jyothika have invited Halitha Shameem and the entire technical team of Sillu Karupatti to their house and congratulated them, there! After showering them with accolades, they had a cake cutting ceremony following which, Suriya & Jyothika presented director Halitha with a Macbook Pro. Having revealed all this on her Facebook post, Halitha Shameem mentioned that she was left speechless by their praises and that she just held their hands in gratitude!

Meanwhile, Halitha Shameem has already moved on to the post production stage of her next movie! This project, titled Aelay, is being financed by S Sashikanth of Y Not Studios and will once again see Samuthirakani and Manikandan, from Sillu Karupatti, in the lead. Aelay is said to be a neo-realistic comedy entertainer with the focus being on a father-son relationship! The poster of this movie was released recently and has generated quite a lot of buzz with many people expressing their eagerness to see what kind of movie Halitha is going to come up with, next!

Actor Karthi’s next film titled, Thambi, under Papanasam fame Jeethu Joseph’s direction will be the first ever time he is starring alongside his sister-in-law, Jyothika, and is coming out in theatres worldwide on December 20. Featuring music by 96 fame Govind Vasantha, the film will be the third and final release for Karthi after kicking off the year with Dev and followed it up with the blockbuster, Kaithi, which came out this Diwali. With the audio launch held recently in Chennai, promotions for Thambi are underway in an extensive manner and a new promo for a song titled ‘Thaalelo’ from the film has now been released.

‘Thaalelo’ has been sung by Chinmayi and is featured on Karthi and Nikhila Vimal with lyrics penned by Karthik Netha. A joint collaboration of Parallel Minds and Viacom18 Studios banners, Thambi will be distributed by SDC Picturez in Tamil Nadu with the film’s star cast also including popular names like legendary actress Sowcar Janaki, veteran actor Sathyaraj, Ilavarasu, Super Deluxe fame, child artiste Ashwanth Ashok Kumar among others in major supporting roles. The film has generated quite a lot of buzz among fans after an action-packed and intriguing teaser was released a while back with many now expecting the makers to unveil a trailer as well next.

Did Jyothika’s hit the Jackpot with her recent release Jackpot? Maybe not but the film did manage to garner a decent number audience to the theatre. It is a mindless entertainer with absolutely no logic. The humour to an extent compensates its lack of logic but it definitely is not a film for everyone. The film is written and directed by Kalyan who had earlier made films like Katta Solla Poren and Gulaebhagavali.

Apart from Jyothika, Jackpot also features the likes of Revathy, Samuthirakani, Mansoor Ali Khan, Yogi Babu, and Anandaraj. Revathi plays the character called Masha for the third time after Arangetra Velai and Gulaebhagavali. Jackpot is produced by Suriya under his banner 2D Entertainment. The music for the film is scored by Vishal Chandrasekhar while RS Anandakumar takes care of the cinematography. Now the makers have released a fun sneak peek, check it out:

Suriya has now released the trailer of Jyothika and Revathi’s upcoming comedy film Jackpot. The trailer features the duo in various avatars from cop to doctor. Apart from Jyothika and Revathi, the film will also star Yogi Babu, Anandaraj, Rajendran, Jagan and Mansoor Ali Khan in key roles. Bankrolled under Suriya's banner 2D Entertainments, the comedy entertainer will be helmed by Gulebagavali director Kalyaan. The principal shoot of the film began on 12 February. Vishal Chandrasekhar composed the music, Anandakumar cranked the camera and Veera Samar joined the team as production designer. Now check some screenshots and the trailer below:

We are pretty excited about jyothika and karthi's new movie - for the reason that this would be the first time for the in-laws to share screen space. Now we hear that the movie will have more than two stars rubbing shoulders. Legendary Sowkar Janaki will have a part in the movie, which is yet to be named. Sowkar Janaki, who at 87 is the Indian actor with the longest career record yet was last seen in the 2016 Telugu film Babu Bangaram.

Sowkar Janaki is a well known name in the Tamil industry following her memorable roles as a leading actress in movies like Naan Kanda Sorgam, Kaviya Thalaivi, Bhagya Lakshmi, Oli Villaku, Ethir Neechal, Maanavan, Uyarndha Manidhan, Nimirndhu Nil, and many more. Sowkar Janaki also played many supporting roles inhit movies like Thee, Thillu Mullu, Vetri Vizha and others.

Though the movie is yet to be named, we do know that it is a crime thriller. Jyothika and karthi will be siblings in the movie which also has veteran Sathyaraj and noted Malayalam actor Ansen in significant roles. RD Rajasekhar will be behind the camera and the music is by Vasantha. Director Jeethu Joseph is no stranger to the genre of thriller - his debut – Drishyam – was a widely acclaimed thriller. He had debuted in Tamil with Papanasam, the remake of Drishyam that had Kamal Haasan in the lead role.

Actress Jyothika had a massive year in 2018 which back to back successful films such as filmmaker Bala's Naachiyaar, Mani Ratnam's Chekka Chivantha Vaanam and Radha Mohan's Kaatrin Mozhi. She is now working on multiple projects and one among them is a big venture with director  Kalyan of 'Gulaebaghavali' fame which is bankrolled by Suriya's home production 2D Entertainment.

We earlier informed out viewers that the film will be titled Jackpot and an official confirmation regarding that released just an hour back along with some stunning pictures of the two lady leads in the film, Jyothika, and Revathi. The posters surely look super massive and fun and the fans are highly pumped up about this film. 

Bollywood actor Riteish Deshmukh has now tweeted about these posters stating they are looking super and Suriya has also tweeted back for this. He stated that Jyothika is now able to do all the mass stunts that Suriya usually does along with big smiling emoticons. Check out this cute post below!

Award winning popular Malayalam director Roshan Andrews has been suspended from Producers Association for allegedly assaulting producer Alwin Antony and his family. The association has demanded tough actions against Roshan and the Film Chamber also took serious note of the incident, say latest reports.

Roshan had attacked the producer at his residence with the help of associates following some differences with his son Alwin John on Saturday night, alleged Alwin Antony. The police have booked a case against Roshan and taken evidence from the producer's family at their residence in Panampilly Nagar, reported a leading Malayalam daily. The window panes of Alwin's home were broken in the incident, added reports. Roshan had barged into the producer's home looking for his son. But after not finding him there, he attacked the family members and a friend of Alwin John, who was present there, alleged the producer.

Meanwhile, Roshan had countered the allegation saying that Alwin tried to attack him and his friends when he visited the producer. He added that Alwin John had worked as his assistant in the Manju Warrier movie 'How Old Are You' and 'Mumbai Police' starring Prithviraj Sukumaran and Jayasurya. Roshan is known for his popular movies like Jyothika-starrer '36 Vayadhinile' and superstar Mohanlal's 'Udayananu Tharam.' His last directorial was Nivin Pauly's superhit film, 'Kayamkulam Kochunni'.

Actress Jyothika had a great run by delivering back to back hit films in 2018. The actress was seen playing an impressive role in Mani Ratnam's multi starrer film titled 'Chekka Chivantha Vaanam' and her female lead film titled Kaatrin Mozhi. Post the release of Kaatrin Moazhi, Jyothika had stayed quiet about her future projects. The actress is always known for portraying unique characters on screen and her performance constantly holds up to a great standard. It has been a while since we heard any announcement from her side and the fans have been waiting to hear updates on her upcoming films. 

It has now been made official that Jyothika will be teaming up with director S. Kalyaan who rose to fame post his successful film with ace actor Prabhu Deva titled Gulaebaghavali. This project is produced by 2D Entertainment headed by actor Suriya. It is the 3rd time 2D Entertainment is joining hands with Jyothika post 36 Vayadhinile and Magalir Mattum. The project has officially gone on floors today with a  small pooja conducted with the presence of the entire cast and crew. It was revealed that actress Revathi, comedian Yogi Babu, Mansoor Ali Khan are playing crucial roles in the film. Music director Vishal will be composing the tunes for the project. 

Once again there is no male lead in this film and hence we can expect it to be another Women-centric film with Jyothika in the lead. Stay tuned to know more about this project.
