Leading Hindi actor Hrithik Roshan wished Telugu star Jr. NTR on his birthday today, while also dropping a big hint about his next film, War 2. For a while now, there have been reports that the duo will be sharing screen space together for the first time in the upcoming Bollywood biggie and the Vikram Vedha actor's latest note has only fueled the speculations even further. Taking to Twitter, Hrithik conveyed his birthday wishes to Jr. NTR writing, "Happy Birthday @tarak9999 ! Wishing you a joyous day and an action packed year ahead. Awaiting you on the yuddhabhumi my friend. May your days be full of happiness and peace  …until we meet 😉 Puttina Roju Subhakankshalu Mitrama 🙏🏻 (sic)".

Although Hrithik shared his birthday wishes to Jr. NTR in a quite formal way, the Bollywood superstar dropped a subtle hint suggesting they will soon meet on the big screen. In his tweet, the actor tells the RRR star that he is awaiting him on the yuddhabhumi (battlefield) and wished for his days to be full of happiness and peace until they meet, while adding a wink emoji. This latest suggestion of the two pan-Indian stars meeting on the big screen has gotten fans excited, with many expecting an official announcement about War 2 in the days ahead. 

War 2 will serve as the sequel to the 2019 blockbuster, War, which also starred Tiger Shroff, and was directed by Siddharth Anand, who recently delivered the box-office money-spinner, Pathaan, with 'Bollywood Baadshah' Shah Rukh Khan. The upcoming sequel will reportedly be directed by Brahmastra fame Ayan Mukerji and has Hrithik Roshan reprising his role as Major Kabir Dhaliwal. War 2 is the seventh film in the highly-successful YRF Spy Universe and will follow the events of the upcoming Tiger 3, starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles. Jr. NTR, on the other hand, is currently busy filming Devara under Koratala Siva's direction and will team up next with KGF filmmaker Prashanth Neel for the tentatively titled NTR 31. 

Rocketry: The Nambi Effect has taken off in a grand fashion and has got quite the buzz around it at the moment. The film which was released last week on July 1 opened to mixed reviews from fans and critics alike as well as the general public, who praised Madhavan for his noble intention, performances and screenplay. The film which managed to tell the unbelievable true story of a genius, has garnered a lot of attention from various famous personalities from the film industry as well.

With all the talk about the film going about, Hrithik Roshan is one of the many celebrities to have shared their views and opinions about the film. Earlier today, the Super 30 actor took to his official Twitter handle to express his thoughts about the newly released film. He said, "The brilliant word-of-mouth for #RocketryTheNambiEffect has left me with FOMO! So happy for my friend @ActorMadhavan who gave it his heart and soul. Other than Hrithik Roshan, the others who have spoken about the film includes Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Dia Mirza, Amitabh Bachchan and his son Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Farhan Akhtar and most importantly Superstar Rajinikanth themselves. They all praised Madhavan for a fabulous job of bringing this tale to life.

R. Madhavan has not only acted in the film in the titular role but has also written, directed, and produced the film as well. This is also his debut film as a director. The biographical drama is based on the life of Nambi Narayanan, a former scientist and aerospace engineer of ISRO (Indian Space Research Organisation) who was accused in the ISRO espionage case and later exonerated.

Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan appeared on the big screen after a notable gap with the biographical drama film titled Super 30 earlier this year. Super 30 opened to positive reviews and the film did a decent job at the box office. The film directed by Vikas Bahl was based on the life of Bihari mathematician Anand Kumar and his educational program Super 30, which coaches underprivileged children for competitive exams. Hrithik Roshan portrayed as  Anand Kumar and Mrunal Thakur played as Ritu Rashmi (Anand Kumar's wife) in the film. Music for the film was composed by Ajay-Atul. Super 30 was co-produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.

Hrithik Roshan who has not has a film in the recent days is preparing for the release of his film Super 30 which is scheduled to release this year. The release of Super 30 has been postponed following unresolved issues that have been affecting the film for a while. The Hrithik Roshan starrer fell in trouble after the director Vikas Bahl was accused of sexual harassment. While the co-producers Reliance Entertainment has been trying hard but the roadblocks have prevented them to put the film together for release. 

Now the latest report state that  Karan Johar has provided a helping hand. Kangana had put her film Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi opposite Super 30 on Republic Day, it was expected that Hrithik would not back off from that date, but then things haven’t reached the completion stage. 

It is now being speculated that Karan Johar who had collaborated on Ranveer Singh's Simmba with Reliance and is close to Hrithik Roshan, would mediate and try and set things right so that the film can reach the screens eventually, Reports reveal that if things fall into place the film would release in April.

The actor has made his cobtribution through Ramanaidu Charitable Trust, which launched the #ManaMadrasKosam initiative in Hyderabad. Rana Daggubati, who is heading the initiatives, has revealed the news.

After Shatrughan Sinha, Aamir Khan and Hrithik Roshan have donated a whopping Rs. 25 lakhs each for the Uttarakhand disaster victims. Aamir Khan has also promised to collect aid through several NGOs that he is part of. Uttarakhand had to face a huge disaster because of the floods caused by non-stop rain, thousands lost their lives, while many lost their houses. Several personalities have made generous donations to lend their support.

Times Square: Hrithik Roshan stops traffic during Kites premiere

Hrithik Roshan proved a real and literal traffic-stopper in New York on Sunday night when all traffic was halted for him to sprint across 42nd Street to meet his fans.

Amidst heavy security bandobast at Times Square, the New York premiere of Kites concluded on Sunday evening to a roaring ovation. There were some heart-stopping moments of security hazards caused mainly by Hrithik Roshan's fan concern when breaking all protection protocol, the star made a dash across the bustling 42nd Street from the venue of the premiere to eager fans across the road.

Hrithik Roshan's considerate gesture towards fans at the Times Square venue of the Kites premiere on Sunday evening, created panic for the tense and anxious Kites team.

The story goes thus… at around 5 in the evening when Hrithik along with his co-star Barbara Mori and wife Sussanne, Dad and Mom (Rakesh and Pinky Roshan), director Anurag Basu (with wife) and other members of the team reached 42nd street at Times Square, he was told to wave to hordes of Indian fans who had been standing on the other side of the super-broad street since early morning waiting for a glimpse of the star.

Sanjeev Lamba of Reliance Big Pictures confirms the incident. "Hrithik did indeed dash across the 42nd Street from our red carpet to waiting fans across the road. And we aren't about crossing just any busy street at peak hour. 42nd Street is a gigantic universe. Hrithik ran across a good half a mile to get to his fans."

The elaborate security was obviously in a panic. Says Lamba, "We had to halt all traffic on 42nd Street for Hrithik to cross. So we can finally say Hrithik Roshan is the first traffic-stopper from Bollywood to make the crossover."

Not just a dash across the busiest street to meet his fans, Hrithik and his dad also made impromptu arrangements for about 500 fans to be accommodated in an extra screen at the AMC Empire theatre.

Hours after the exhausting and exhilarating experience, Rakesh Roshan said, "What could we do? There were 400-500 of Hrithik's fans who wanted to see the film. There were women crying, girls tearing their hair and threatening to commit suicide."

In addition to the 700-seater at the AMC Empire theatre, a smaller 500-seater screener was rented for extra fans at the last minute.

"We had no choice. The fans wouldn't have allowed us to have the New York premiere, if we refused. We're glad Hrithik's fans returned happy. At the after-party at the Grand Park Ville, everyone was talking about the new grammar of filmmaking in Kites."
