One of the most celebrated cricketers of all time, Dhoni ventured into the cinema industry with his production house, Dhoni Entertainment. The first film of the production house is in Tamil, titled Let’s Get Married (LGM), and is to release in theatres on July 28. It has Bigg Boss Tamil fame Harish Kalyan and Love Today star Ivana in lead roles. Sakthi Film Factory, which is to release the film in theatres across Tamil Nadu, has released an announcement about the film. The makers have shared that the film has received a ‘U’ certificate from the Central Board for Film Certification. This shows that the film will be a family entertainer. The makers have shared it with the caption, "The fun is just about to begin, get ready to enjoy with your entire family!" (sic)

The film Let's Get Married is also going to release in neighboring states, and the makers have shared that it will release in Karnataka and Kerala on July 28. But in Telugu, the film is set to release on August 4, a week after the release of the movie in Tamil Nadu. Though the makers have not clarified any reasons for the delay in the Andhra and Telangana release of the film, it is speculated that it's due to the release of the film Bro, directed by Samuthirakani, with Pawan Kalyan and Sai Tej in the lead roles, on July 28.

The first Tamil film of popular cricketer Dhoni is a romantic drama that revolves around the characters played by Harish Kalyan, Ivana, and veteran actress Nadiya. Let's Get Married is about what happens when the two families go on vacation to get to know each other. The film has an exciting cast that includes Yogi Babu, RJ Vijay, Venkat Prabhu, Srinath, Mohan Vaidhyan, Vinodhini Vaidhyanathan, dance choreographer Sandy, and others in character roles. The film is directed by debut director Ramesh Tamilmani, who is also composing the music for the film.

Harish Kalyan is an actor who became popular after participating in the reality show Bigg Boss. He has been playing the lead role in many films and his upcoming movie is produced by the legendary cricket M.S.Dhoni. Now, the next project of the actor after the film Let’s Get Married has been announced. The film is touted to be a thriller drama that is directed by debutant filmmaker Ramkumar Balakrishnan. Parking is to be co-produced by Sudhan Sundaram and K.S. Sinish under the banner of Soldiers Factory and Passion Studios. The film will also have music by Sam CS. It is said that the film will also feature veteran actors M.S. Bhaskar, Ilavarasu, Prathana Nathan of Love Today fame and others in important roles The film will also have Jiju Sunny as DOP and editing by Philomin Raj. Along with the announcement poster, Harish Kalyan has also revealed that the first look of the film will be launched soon.

Harish Kalyan has an exciting lineup of upcoming films including Nooru Kodi Vaanavil, Lubber Pandhu and Diesel. The actor is a part of the cricketer M.S. Dhoni's venture into Tamil cinema as a producer titled Let’s Get Married with the debutant filmmaker Ramesh Tamilmani. The film also has Love Today fame Ivana playing the female lead and it is speculated that the film could release in theatres in July. The first single from the film was released recently.

Earlier today (October 11), the official announcement on the release date of the Harish Kalyan - Priya Bhavani Shankar starrer Oh Mana Penne was made and it has made the fans look forward to watching the film. Oh Mana Penne will release on October 22 and this means that we are just 10 days away from witnessing the film. We can expect the teaser/trailer of the film to be released very soon. Oh Mana Penne will have a direct OTT release on the Disney Hotstar OTT platform and this will be the streaming giant's next direct OTT release film after Netrikann, Annabelle Sethupathi and Lift.

Oh Mana Penne happens to be the official Tamil remake of the super hit Telugu film, Pelli Choopulu, directed by Tharun Bhascker Dhassyam. Harish Kalyan and Priya Bhavani Shankar will be reprising the lead roles played by Vijay Deverakonda and Ritu Varma in the original version. Abhishek Kumar and Anbu Thasan would be seen playing supporting roles. Oh Mana Penne is directed by debutant Kaarthikk Sundar, a former associate of director AL Vijay. Produced by SP Cinemas and Madhav Media in association with A Havish Production and Third Eye Entertainment, the film has music composed by Vishal Chandrasekhar and cinematography handled by Krishnan Vasant.

Kripakaran and Sadhish K have taken care of the editing and art direction departments respectively. Annabelle Sethupathi director Deepak Sundarrajan has penned the dialogues for this film. Oh Mana Penne is expected to be a breezy romantic drama that will connect well with the youngsters. Even before the release of the film, the pair of Harish Kalyan and Priya Bhavani Shankar is already a big hit among the fans and their chemistry is going to be one of the major highlights of the film. A film that surprised Tamil cinema audiences in 2018 was the romantic comedy Pyaar Prema Kaadhal starring Harish Kalyan and Raiza Wilson in the lead roles. Both stars, who had earlier appeared in a few films, including their stints on the hit reality TV show Bigg Boss Tamil, went on to be appreciated for their performances in the film, which incidentally marked the directorial debut of Elan. Apart from delivering chart-buster songs, composer Yuvan Shankar Raja entered film production with Pyaar Prema Kaadhal in association with K Productions, with the film turning out to be a box office success, while also garnering positive reviews from critics. 

Fast forward to two years later and production house Screen Scene Media Entertainment on Saturday announced that they will be producing a film that will see Yuvan Shankar Raja, director Elan and Harish Kalyan reuniting once again after their hit Pyaar Prema Kaadhal. Announcing the trio coming back together, Screen Scene has further revealed that their upcoming venture will have its first look unveiled on a special date. As of now, not much is known about the film, with the cast and crew expected to be announced when the first look is revealed. Below is the official announcement:

Fans will be looking forward to the Yuvan-Elan-Harish Kalyan trio for a thorough entertainer like Pyaar Prema Kaadhal, which struck a chord especially with the youngsters. The Tamil remake of Vijay Deverakonda - Ritu Varma starrer Pelli Choopulu, has been titled as Oh! Mana Penne. The makers have also released the first look posters on social media and it was released by Vijay Deverakonda and director Tharun Bhascker. Pelli Choopulu's director Tharun Bhascker, who felt nostalgic while sharing Oh Mana Penne's first look, wished the team for a grand success. Tharun tweeted, "Nostalgia kicks in as I post this ! Here comes the official Tamil remake of Pellichoopulu- “Oh mana penne” . Honoured to launch its title & first look. The remake will have Harish Kalyan and Priya Bhavani Shankar reprising the lead roles and the duo seem to make a good pair. The pairing looks fresh and it is going to be interesting to see them perform together. Oh Mana Penne is directed by debutant Kaarthikk Sundar, a former associate of director AL Vijay. The Tamil dialogues have been penned by Deepak Sundarrajan who is currently busy with his debut directorial starring Taapsee, Vijay Sethupathi, Radikaa Sarathkumar and others. Talking about the technical team of Oh Mana Penne, the film has music scored by Vishal Chandrashekhar, cinematography by Krishnan Vasant and editing by Kripakaran.

The film is produced by A Studios LLP and A Havish Production, in association with SP Cinemas Madhav Media and Third Eye Production have acquired the negative rights of the film. The first look poster looks very colourful and sets a very positive mood. The first look gives a sense of promise that the film will be an interesting watch. Pelli Choopulu was a film that gave Vijay Deverakonda his initial breakthrough and let us wait and see what Oh Mana Penne does to Harish Kalyan, Priya Bhavani Shankar and others. Oh Mana Penne promises to be a feel good entertainer with a good dose of comedy and romance.

The fans are quite puzzled to know if the film will have a direct OTT release, considering the current trend in Tamil cinema, but we will have to wait for a few more weeks for a better clarity. The makers are said to have made a few changes to the script to make it a little more suitable for the Tamil audience. Popular comedy actor Vadivel Balaji passed away yesterday (September 10) and his demise took the entire state of Tamil Nadu by deep shock. Ace music director Yuvan Shankar Raja made his debut as a producer with the romantic drama, Pyaar Prema Kaadhal, which turned out to be a big hit at the box office. The film, which starred Harish Kalyan and Raiza Wilson in the lead roles, was well-received by the general audience, especially the youngsters. Yuvan’s magical songs were a major boost to the film and he just made the audience fall in love with his beautiful music. During the corona lockdown period, the makers of Pyaar Prema Kaadhal had been regularly releasing deleted scenes from the film and today the 10th of August marks the 2nd year anniversary of the film. Harish Kalyan plays a character called Sree in the film while Raiza is called Sindhuja, in this concept video, Sindhuja asks Sree if he knows what day is it today? Pyaar Prema Kaadhal is a successful romantic comedy film that released a couple of years back on the 10th of August 2018. The film was jointly produced by Yuvan Shankar Raja and SN Rajarajan under their banners YSR Films and K Productions. Pyaar Prema Kaadhal stars Harish Kalyan and Bigg Boss fame Raiza Wilson in the lead roles. The film is written and directed by Elan with music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, cinematography done by Raja Bhattacharjee, edited by S. Manikumaran. The film released alongside Kamal Haasan's Vishwaroopam II and opened to a positive response from the audience and became a commercial success. Meanwhile, Bigg Boss Tamil sensation, Harish Kalyan has now released a small tribute video for all Sushant Singh Rajput fans. He has sung the title track from Dil Bechara in dedication to Sushant. Dil Bechara will release on Disney Hostar on July 24. For the love of Sushant and his love for cinema, the movie will be available to all subscribers and non-subscribers. Dil Bechara’s recently released trailer is a massive hit becoming the most liked trailer in the world within 24 hours of its release, beating Avengers: Endgame. The film's release had been postponed multiple times, due to post-production delays and then again due to the COVID-19 pandemic in India. It will now release on 24 July 2020 on Disney+ Hotstar. Apart from Sushant Singh Rajput, the film also features the likes of Sanjana Sanghi as the other lead with Saif Ali Khan playing a special role. Directed by Mukesh Chhabra, Dil Bechara has music by AR Rahman and is produced by Fox Star Studios.
