'Pushpa 2 The Rule' teaser: Allu Arjun returns as Pushpa Raj and this time with a bang as Goddess Kali

The long wait has finally come to an end for Allu Arjun's fans as the teaser of his highly-anticipated film, Pushpa 2: The Rule, is now out and gives a glimpse at what everyone can look forward to in cinemas starting August 15. The upcoming film has the Telugu superstar reprising his role as Pushpa Raj and is a sequel to Pushpa: The Rise (2021), which went on to become a nationwide blockbuster at the box office, and will see the story going forward from where it left off in the original. Being directed by hit Telugu filmmaker Sukumar, the Pushpa 2 teaser released on Monday, April 8, on the special occasion of Allu Arjun's birthday showcases the actor in prime form delivering the big blows and is indeed a big treat for his fans everywhere. 

The Pushpa 2 teaser begins showing a jatara taking place where the devotees are seen offering their prayers to Goddess Kali. The visuals then turn to shots of a ghungroo, jhumkas, and someone with their eyes lined with kohl and a bindi on the forehead. We then see a person in a blue silk saree turning around with a Trishul before we are introduced to Allu Arjun as Pushpa Raj as Goddess Kali and beating up the thugs in the crowd. The Pushpa 2 The Rule teaser showcases Allu Arjun looking captivating and more ruthless than he previously did in Pushpa: The Rise, and fans will no doubt be looking for him to come out firing on all cylinders once again. 

Pushpa 2 also stars national sensation Rashmika Mandanna, who is returning as Srivalli, while Malayalam superstar Fahadh Faasil as the antagonist SP Bhanwar Singh Shekawat IPS and his confrontation with Allu Arjun's Pushpa Raj is set to be a major highlight. The film will feature songs and a background score by Devi Sri Prasad, who along with Allu Arjun were honored for Best Music Direction and Best Actor, respectively, at the 69th National Film Awards for their work in Pushpa: The Rise

Tamil actor Ajrun Das will next be seen in the much awaited Tami-Hindi bilingual film Por / Dange alongside Kalidas Jayaram, TJ Bhanu, and Sanchana Natarajan under David (2013) fame Bejoy Nambiar's direction. Speaking to the media on Monday, February 26, at the upcoming film's press meet, the young sensation, who also played a pivotal role in 'Thalapathy' Vijay's blockbuster Master (2021), opened up on the possibility of reprising his role as Anbu Das from Kaithi (2019) in the planned sequel, Kaithi 2 under filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj's direction.

Addressing whether he will be seen in Kaithi 2, Arjun Das stated, "Lokesh sir only can tell that. It will be wonderful if he calls me. It's a good thing I didn't die in the LCU. So, hopefully, I believe I'll be there in the film. Let's see." Tamil cinema fans noticed noted Arjun make an appearance as Anbu in 'Ulaganayagan' Kamal Haasan's Vikram (2022), which went on to become a raging box-office success and thus established the Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU). Seen towards the final moments in Vikram, Arjun alongside Harish Uthaman, who played Adaikalam in Kaithi, left fans excited with their cameos in the Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi, and Fahadh Faasil-starrer, which included a rocking guest appearance by Suriya as Rolex, and the wait will now be on for what Lokesh Kanagaraj has planned next for their characters in Kaithi 2, which will see Karthi reprising his role as Dilli. 

Although not many details are known about Kaithi 2 at this point, it is believed that filming on the project will take off after Lokesh Kanagaraj completes shooting his next big film, the tentatively titled Thalaivar 171 with 'Superstar' Rajinikanth. Karthi too is busy with his current slate of projects  that includes Karthi 26 with director Nalan Kumarasamy of Soodhu Kavvum (2013) and Kadhalum Kadandhu Pogum (2016) fame and Karthi 27 under Prem Kumar's direction, who impressed audiences with his 96 (2018).

The excitement for the highly-anticipated Leo trailer releasing on Thursday, October 5, is at an all-time high among 'Thalapathy' Vijay's fans as a new poster featuring 'Action King' Arjun has now been unveiled by broadcasting Tamil channel Sun TV on their social media handles. This new poster has come as a big treat for fans, who are eagerly waiting to witness the first action-packed visuals from the film directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The new Leo trailer poster featured on Arjun's character Harold Das shows him seated on a luxury high-back chair and smoking a cigarette while having an intense look in his eyes as he is seen staring up ahead. 

This latest Leo trailer poster is also the next big promotional material unveiled for Arjun's character Harold Das after an intriguing, intense, and action-packed glimpse was released on his birthday on August 15. The actor-filmmaker is set to be seen in a crucial role and will be playing a character with many negative shades as was witnessed in the glimpse, which showed him leading an army of gangsters and drug peddlers, while also chopping off the hand of Sandy master as a form of punishment. With Arjun's Harold Das following suit after Bollywood superstar Sanjay Dutt's Antony Das poster yesterday, there is buzz that another poster featured on Vijay as Leo Das will be unveiled tomorrow along with the timing of the Leo trailer release by Sun TV. 

With the characters of Vijay, Sanjay Dutt, and Arjun revealed to be bearing the same surname Das in Leo, it is strongly believed that the trio could be playing brothers and fans will be looking forward to getting answers in the trailer coming out tomorrow. Allu Arjun is on cloud nine these days after recently being announced as the first Telugu actor to win the Best Actor Award at the 69th National Film Awards for his powerful performance in Pushpa: The Rise - Part 1. The superstar now in collaboration with Instagram welcomed the social media giant inside his residence in Hyderabad, Telangana, and gave fans a tour of the Pushpa 2: The Rule sets. Allu Arjun shared a glimpse on Wednesday, August 30, of his personal and professional life as he headed from his plush home in his luxury car to the sets of Pushpa 2

Upon his entry into the massive Ramoji Film City, we see Allu Arjun's superstardom come to the fore once again as he is greeted by his ardent fans before getting ready for the Pushpa 2: The Rule shooting. We then see the upcoming film's director Sukumar welcome the Telugu actor, who then undergoes a makeup session, while also opting for a costume change. Explaining the difference in the response he gets at home in comparison to around the globe, Allu Arjun says, "Fans in India are different from the rest of the world. You have to see it. I can’t explain." Sharing the video, Instagram wrote, "Enter Ramoji Film City, located in Hyderabad, India. It’s one of the world’s largest film studio complexes and home to Pushpa 2: The Rule, Allu Arjun’s latest action-packed sequel. The studio also serves as a regular hangout for fans eager to meet their hero before shooting." 

Allu Arjun further explained that his fans have been a big source of encouragement during the course of his glorious career. He says, "They play a huge part in my motivation. It’s their love that makes me push my boundaries, and I want to make them really proud — like, more proud and more proud." Though his family has been in the film industry for three decades, and Allu Arjun has acted in dozens of Indian films, Pushpa 2 is his biggest film so far. The actor says, "If there’s one thing about Pushpa that I really like, it’s his never-give-up character."

The 69th National Film Awards were announced on Thursday, August 24, and witnessed several big names from the Tamil film industry, South India and Indian cinema emerge as winners. Among the biggest wins were for leading Telugu actor Allu Arjun who bagged the Best Actor National Award for his powerful performance in Pushpa: The Rise - Part 1, followed by Alia Bhatt and Kriti Sanon sharing the Best Actress award for their roles in Gangubai Kathiawadi and Mimi, respectively. Likewise, R. Madhavan's Rocketry: The Nambi Effect won the Best Feature Film award, followed by S. S. Rajamouli's RRR emerging triumphant winning a remarkable six awards, while Tamil filmmaker M. Manikandan's Kadaisi Vivasayi bagged two wins for the Best Tamil film and a Special Mention for the late Nallandi, with Telugu composer Devi Sri Prasad announced as the Best Music Director for his work on Pushpa: The Rise - Part 1

In that light, leading Tamil actor-producer Suriya, who himself won the Best Actor award at the 68th National Film Awards in 2022 for his performance in Soorarai Pottru (2020), extended his heartfelt wishes by taking to social media in the evening shortly after the winners' list was announced. Conveying his congratulations to all the winners across all the states, he also shared a special mention for Kadaisi Vivasayi, music director M. M. Keeravani and choreographer Prem Rakshith for their work in RRR, followed by R. Parthiban's Iravin Nizhal, which won Shreya Ghoshal the Best Female Playback Singer honor for the song 'Maayava Chaayavaa', and leading Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt for the Best Actress award for her intense performance in Gangubai Kathiawadi

Suriya, who made a guest appearance in Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, penned special words for his buddy and actor-filmmaker R. Madhavan, congratulating him for coming out on top with his directorial vision. Having previously collaborated with Madhavan in Aaytha Ezhuthu (2004), Suriya wrote on X, "Big congratulations to Team #RocketryTheNambiEffect & special congrats to my brother @ActorMadhavan your directorial vision and dedicated hardwork has fetched the film this recognition at #69thNationalFilmAwards Rock On Maddy!" (sic)

Continuing with his praise, Suriya went on to shower appreciation on Allu Arjun for becoming the first Telugu actor to win the National Award for his role in Pushpa: The Rise - Part 1, while also congratulating the film's composer Devi Sri Prasad for his work on the film's songs. The 69th National Film Awards were announced during a press conference by the jury at the National Media Center, New Delhi today (August 24). The most prestigious honor celebrating the best talent across Indian cinema, the National Film Awards are "aimed aim at encouraging the production of films of aesthetic and technical excellence and social relevance", according to the Directorate of Film Festivals of the Union Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. A total of 285 entries in the 'Feature' category in 28 languages and 158 entries in the 'Non-Feature' category in 23 languages will be receiving honors at the 69th National Film Awards, with the Baba Saheb Phalke Award to be announced at a later date.

Arjun Das is a popular actor who has played character roles in many hit Tamil and Telugu films. The next film of the actor has released in theatres today, Aneethi. The actor is starring alongside actress Dushara Vijayan of Sarpatta Parambarai fame. Ahead of the release of the film, the actor has shared a special statement on his Twitter account. He first began by saying, "Today is a dream come true for me and my team." He said he was truly fortunate to work with the critically acclaimed director Vasantha Balan, music composer G.V. Prakash Kumar, and director Shankar, who is presenting the film. The actor then thanked those who wanted the preview film and those who shared their feedback with the team, adding that it meant a lot to them. "All credits should go only to Vasantha Balan, Sir. Youth sensation Arjun Das' next big Tamil film is the much-awaited Aneethi directed by Tamil Nadu State Film Award winner and director Vasanthabalan, who is best known for Veyil (2006), Angadi Theru (2010), and Kaaviya Thalaivan (2014). The upcoming thriller is gearing up for its grand release in cinemas starting July 21 and promotions have officially kicked off with the film's action-packed official trailer now released. Prakash Kumar and is a tad bit different from critically-acclaimed filmmaker Vasanthabalan's previous films considering it relies heavily on action based on the promotional material released so far.
