The second daughter of Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan & Sarika - Akshara Haasan, who goes by the username Kutty Haasan on Twitter, was last seen on screens in the Chiyaan Vikram starrer Kadaram Kondan. Today afternoon around 1.00 pm, she posted a couple of videos of a building collapsing in Mumbai. These shocking videos show a multi-storey building collapsing in on itself, with many people looking on, distraught. One of the videos shows the Police arriving at the scene, almost immediately.

Akshara posted, "Khar 17th road coming down from pali hill. Please avoid route. Building collapsing" along with the video. In a separate post, she mentioned, "Police doing the best they can fire brigade on their way". Various government agencies rushed to the spot to help rescue people if they were stranded inside. Further details regarding this incident are being awaited. We hope nobody was hurt in the building collapse mishap.

Akshara was also recently seen in the thriller web-series Fingertip, that premiered recently on a digital platform. This series, based on the negative effects of social media, also stars Ashwin Kakamanu, Sunaina, Gayathrie Shankar and Madhusudhan Rao, among others. This series has been getting rave reviews from the viewers.

Varun Tej, Naga Babu's son, is all set to make his debut through Srikanth Addala's movie, to be produced by Aswini Dutt under the Vyjayanthi Movies banner. The movie was launched on February 14th, and the regular shoot is all set to start on May 20. We hear that either Akshara Haasan, the younger daughter of legend Kamal Haasan, or Parineeti Chopra, might be roped in to play the female lead! The buzz is that Parineeti would be favoured more than Akshara. Satyanand, who has trained people like Power Star Pawan Kalyan, is currently training Varun Tej. Following the success of SVSC, Srikanth Addala is planning to make this movie, to be a pleasant, romantic entertainer!

Akshara Haasan, who is keen to take up direction, was spotted in the he CCL matches along with her sister, cheering for the Chennai Rhinos team. And that has let the filmmakers from Andhra to come up with an idea of casting her in their forthcoming ventures. Earlier, ace director Mani Ratnam offered her the lead role in Kadal, but the 22-year old rejected it.

Now we hear that Chiranjeevi's younger brother Nagendra Babu is planning to approach her to play the female lead in his son Varun Tej's debut film.
