Santhosh Sivan for Ravanan

Santhosh Sivan for Ravanan
Shooting for Mani Ratnam’s Ravanan was supposed to becomplete by the end of April. However, Mani’s ill health put the shooting on long halt, putting cinematographer Manikandan in a tight spot. Why?Manikandan expected the shooting to wrap up as planned and signed on for Shahrukh Khan’s next movie, which is supposed to start in June. But with Ravanan’s next shooting schedule set for June 3rd, Manikandan was clueless about what to do. Having worked on both of SRK’s previous films, the cinematographer seemed a little inclined in his direction, and hence Mani had to find a replacement. Ace cinematographer Santosh Sivan has readily filled that spot! He has already worked with Mani forthe director’s superhits Roja and Dil Se and is sure to fit in with ease.
