Stylish star Allu Arjun’s much awaited film Sarainodu hits the theatres today. Boyapati Seenu is surely back with another powerful action drama! Catherine Teresa and Rakul Preet are playing the female leads in the movie. Gundello Godari fame Aadhi will be seen in a negative role in the movie. Bunny’s home banner Geetha Arts has produced this mega action-packed entertainer.
Gana (Allu Arjun) is an ex army officer who leaves the army to serve people and do well in his own city. He provides justice and unofficial judgment to people in need. Gana takes up his Uncle’s clients problems who is a lawyer by profession and solves those cases in his lawful style. One day Gana sees Hansitha Reddy (Catherine Teresa) a MLA by profession and love at first sight happens. He woes her and eventually she also starts feeling for him. In the meanwhile he is sent to meet his prospective bride Mahalakshmi (Rakul Preet Singh). He rescues her and also the entire village from a local goon, not aware of the fact that there is a big Tycoon Dhanush (Adi Pinisetty) is behind this.
Hansitha asks Gana to take an oath that he won’t beat up anyone and involve in any violence. Just before taking the oath Mahalakshmi comes running, escaping from the goons and calling out to Gana. He beats up everyone and saves Mahalakshmi from them. She narrates Gana, Hansitha and the entire family how the village was devastated and her father was killed by Dhanush for not surrendering to his demands. The rest of the story forms in how Gana takes it up as a challenge to take revenge on Dhanush and teach him a lesson.
Sarainodu is a typical Boyapati film with his patent action elements, style and heroism. Bunny tried a proper action film for the first time in his career. It is a typical film with routine story line but Bunny’s presence and style factor made a lot of difference. Bunny worked a lot on his physique and excelled in the action sequences.
For the first time a female lead has been given a novel role like of a MLA in our Telugu Film Industry. Catherine impresses as the MLA and performs really well. Rakul Preet’s role is quite similar to that of what we see in films - a girl and his family in danger and how the hero comes to rescue.
Brahmanadam and Saranay’s comedy scene s bring laughter here and there.
Overall, Sarainodu is a typical Boyapati Seenu dashed with Bunny’s super style and charm.
