Superstar Rajinikanth's Vikrama Simha (Kochadaiyaan in Tamil) may not hit the screen during auspicious Deepavali this year. According to sources, the film has been postponed since the film's release date clashes with Ajay Devgn's Son of Sardar.

Eros International, one of the producers of the film, is not in favour of clashing with other Big Bollywood film like Shah Rukh Khan-Yash Chopra film and Son of Sardar that are scheduled for Deepavali release, it is said.

It seems that Rajni plays a dual role as a king and prince in the film. Jackie Shroff and Nasser will be seen as his rival kings. Shot in London, Chennai, Thiruvananthapuram and Hong Kong, the film is directed by Rajni's daughter Soundarya.
