Director Pawan Kumar's Kannada film U-Turn with Shraddha Srinath in the lead was raved for its strong content and seamless writing. After attaining critical acclaim, this thriller film got remade in Tamil and Telugu with Samantha reprising the lead character. Pawan Kumar helmed the remake version as well and it became a decent hit at the box office earning a positive word of mouth from the audience.

The latest reports now suggest that the film is all set to be remade in Hindi as well. Yes, the remake rights have been acquired by Ekta Kapoor in Bollywood and the initial talks are on progress for the cast and crew. It is said that Pawan was keen to direct the Hindi version as well. According to the reports, it is said that "It is not being said that Ekta may still get Pawan to shepherd the Hindi version.

A lot of filmmakers wanted to take over the rights of the film but Pawan was keen to direct the Hindi version as well.
