Rajavari Chepala Cheruvu from today

Eminent writer-director-actor Posani Krishna Murali's Rajavari Chepala Cheruvu is releasing on May 15. Set in the backdrop of politics, the film has Posani playing the role of a cop. Gaina plays the heroine. The film is produced by B. Subrahmanyam and Y. Rupesh under the banner of Lakshmi Ganapathi Films.

According to Posani, the plot of Rajavari Chepala Cheruvu would be like several varieties of fish in the same tank. Brahmanandam, Ali, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Raghubabu, M.S. Narayana, Krishna Bhagavan, Suneel, Venu Madhav, Giribabu, Ranganath, Chalapathi Rao, Kondavalasa, Brahmaji, Prabhakar, Pragathi and�Sana are in the main supporting cast.

According to sources, Posani's role as a police officer is not intended to criticize or support any political parties. Notably, Posani recently turned politician by formally joining megastar Chiranjeevi’s Praja Rajyam party. Posani's last directorial venture was Aapadamokkulavaadu (2008), a political drama starring Nagendra Babu in the lead.
