It is the season of period films in Tollywood. After Anushka and Kajal Aggarwal, it is now Priyamani's turn to go back in time. Sources say that the actress will play a warrior princess in a yet-to-be named period drama, set in the backdrop of 16 century.
"She is a powerhouse of talent and will be playing a warrior princess,” director Prem Arya, erstwhile associate of filmmaker Anishankar, said. The shooting will take place in a 400-year-old ancient fort in Chandragiri near Tirupati. “This semi-periodic movie is a fiction and we did work hard on the script. I can't divulge more since we are going to start shooting only from December 5,” he added.
