Meistri pokes fun at politics

Dasari Narayana Rao’s home production Meistri (also spelt Maistri) will be a film to watch out for, with reports emerging that it contains many references to the political situation in the state. The film is in the final stages with the shooting of the climax progressing fast at the Ramoji Rao film city in Hyderabad.

Coming�at a time when Chiranjeevi has entered active politics, the film is said to have references to his newly-launched Praja Rajyam party. Plus, Dr. Mohan Babu, who criticized Chiranjeevi on his political adventures, is playing an important role in Meistri.

Meistri,�directed by Suresh Krishna, a disciple of Dasari Narayana Rao, is expected to release�in March.
