Gautham Menon’s Naga Chaitanya starrer launched

Kollywood's much ought-after film-maker Gautham Menon's upcoming Naga Chaitanya starrer, rumoured to be the Telugu version of ongoing Silambarasan-Trisha starrer Vinnaithandi Varuvaya (Tamil), was recently launched during a simple pooja at Annapoorna Studios, Hyderabad.

Super star Krishna sounded the clapboard, ANR switched on the camera and D. Rama Naidu directed the first shot. The function was attended by family members of Nagarjuna, superstar Krishna and Rama Naidu.

The film, to be shot in locales of Hyderabad, New York and Kerala, is being planned for December 2009 release. Produced by Manjula (Krishna’s daughter) under the banner of Indira Creations, this untitled musical romantic entertainer has music by A.R. Rahman. A new face will be the heroine.
