Dhanush bags Ready's remake rights

Why wouldan actoralways prefers to remake other language films, especially super hits, rather than attempting fresh or genuine themes?Obviously, because unlike fresh plots, remakes of successful filmsoffera greater confidence level of minimum guarantees and probable box office success. However, we do not deny exceptions!Malayalam flick Katha Parayumbol was a super hit, but the remakes Kuselan in Tamil and Kathanayakudu in Telugu (both released in 2008) turned out to beflops.

Now, the news is that after consecutively bagging the remakes rights of two Telugu super hits Adavari Matalaku Ardhalu Verule (Yaaradi Nee Mohini) and Arya (Kutty), upcoming remake king Dhanush has bought the remake rights of yet another Telugu super hit Ready, directed by Srinu Vytla with Ram and Genelia in the lead roles. Dhanush's Kutty is yet to be released.

Ready is the story of Chandu, a final year engineering student at Bellary. One of his friends falls in love with a girl, whose father arranges her marriage with some other person. So his friends kidnap the bride out of the marriage hallto arrange their marriage. However, Chandu's gang mistakenly rushes into another marriage hall and kidnaps Pooja. Later, Chandu falls in love with Pooja. What happens nextmakes upthe rest of the film.
