Today is a big day for Priyamani! Her much awaited Charulatha is being simultaneously released in four southern languages on September 21. The Telugu version is released by Geetha Film Distribution.
Directed by Pon Kumar and produced by Dwarakish, Charulatha has Priyamani playing the role of conjoined twins. It is the remake of Thai-Korean film Alone (2007), which is about a deceased Siamese twin returning to haunt surviving sister.
Mollywood actor Skanda plays the male lead, while Seetha, Saranya Ponvannan and Arthi play important roles. Sundar C. Babu scored the music. Priyamani had dubbed herself in all the four languages.
